Worn tires

I'm fairly certain my tires are beginning to wear on this vehicle I continue to race. I went to purchase some more, but couldn't install them - said I already had them installed and put them in my items list.

How do you know when you need new tires? I'm seeing (and feeling) my track times go up.

Your tires don't wear like that in game, once you purchase a set they're good for life, tire wear only spans the race you're currently racing the particular tire on.

Yep as said tires don't wear over multiple races. There may be some other source of your times dropping such as oil or engine wear, especially if it's a car you bought used with plenty of mileage
