I have just read some really worrying news about TDU2. It is due to come out on March 8th 2008, but it is according to the report, it is not due to come out on PS3. DOH!

Personally I haven't even heard a report from Atari that TDU2 is confirmed let alone what consoles it is going to be for.

It's just an unconfirmed rumour. But even still, I couldn't find anything to say it wasn't going to be released for the PS3, it just doesn't mention the PS3, there's a big difference. And even then, the articles around are still all only based on a rumour.

Strike two. Too many red flags in this snippit.
Strike three. An even larger location with dynamic weather? Coming out next Spring? And we have never heard of it at E3 or Leipzig?
Just another rumor. It'd be awesome if this is true and there's a TDU sequel coming relatively soon, though.

Well they took 5 years on TDU the orginal apparently according to Atari.

Dude, calm down. You sound like you're really worked up over something in every post of yours that I read. Take a few deep breaths and think of it this way: if the game has been moved back to March next year, then it will probably be better than if it met its original release date. And if it's not due to come out on PS3, so what? You've got GT5 to keep you interested.

TDU2 is not coming out until 2009. Trust me, if the developers want to expand on TDU1, which took 3 years to complete, we will not be seeing anything of TDU2 until 2009.
And I assure you, a PS3 version will be in. Eden highly considered a PS3 version for TDU, but they decided they would be releasing far behind the other versions causing it to be behind its hype.
TDU2's location, cars, and more are all unknown though. All we have word on is that there will be one, it is being worked on, and possibly...2008 will start showing it off.

Read the rest of the thread, not only had the link already been provided, but your fears had already been answered. I'd be very worried with myself if I got so paranipod about a game, let alone a completely unfounded rumour about one that a small amount of thought would tell me is almost 100% false.

If it is not the first post in a thread, then the "title" is simply the "header" option that can be added to any individual post.
I understand your point, I'm just saying it's not entirely the end of the world. If you want the game that badly, then buy a 360. I did. And yes, I bought it specifically for TDU (to start with, at any rate). I played the beta of the PS2 version, and while impressed by the idea of the game, I was unimpressed by the graphics (although I'll admit they improved dramatically between the beta and the final build). I have not regretted the decision to purchase the system, because of the exact reason I mentioned above.. I don't miss any games. And I know I'm not alone. It doesn't have to do with fanboyism or any of that, it's about giving yourself options.

Then WAIT!!!, seriously its the best thing to do! That way you loose nothing! If you have the urge go to a mates house and play some next gen games there!
He's got a point.. there's no need to buy them both at the same time. I sure as hell didn't. Save up a little here and there, go buy one of 'em. Then save up some more and go buy the other. TDU is out right now, been out for a year. GT5 isn't coming until next year. So it's not like you're going to "miss out" on GT5 just because you buy a 360 now.

That's life, you either buy both or you deal with it. Letting video games cause this much frustration should be among the least of your worries in life. Especially when the frustration is caused by an unfounded rumour with no real source. Get a grip man.
