i think it is 5+ years thry on making the and all the things still missing like online leaderbord(it is there now) dead zones on the wheel the lack of costimations on the cars
they had so must time to do the things you see in other driving games and still have make
patches for that
 
I agree that some standards look quite poor, and the HSR-II springs immediately to mind, but the majority are indistinguishable from premiums during races.
Honestly though, hype up a game for damn near six years, and it'll never tick every box will it? Remember Driver 3? OK game but was attacked by reviewers for not living up to the unattainable hype.
1.05 was a huge step in the right direction. Patience has pretty much always been the name of the game with GT, whether it be ludicrously long production times, or saving up to buy that Escudo or Pescarolo, or waiting for patches so this game can become as good as the hype, and (hopefully at least) we can go without complaints for a little while.

Wishfull thinking Bro, this game could do a strip and lap dance and some **** would still complain:crazy:
 
The ring is the best representation of it that i have seen in any game to date ,its amazing, i could spend hours driving it in all my favourite cars,for me it is worth buying it for this alone,and i am sure over the next few months they will iron out all the little bugs the last update was excellent.

Game Stop/ EB Games in the USA was taking pre-orders for GTHD/GT5 in January of 2007.
 
"The physics are alright, about the same as GT3."....lolwut?
 
I was going to let this topic continue, but seeing that the OP isn't prepared to discuss within his own topic (it's been a number of hours since he posted this), I'm closing it.

Please don't hit and run. If you want to create a topic like this, at least be prepared post back to counter any difference of opinion. By not doing so, all I see is someone going on a rant.
