Would this be good/useful in GT5?

oh, oops my mistake. Well, in which case yeah that would need to be done as the power to weight and weight distribution will change however major or minor the change would be not to mention which wheels are driving.
edit:I'd still like to see a Caterham Seven with a 427 cobra jet on it just for 🤬 and giggles

It seems you do not know what a handling line is.

A handling line, is the scripted code that makes each vehicle behave as it does, it is not the racing line, which is what you're referring to.

Sorry if that sounded a bit patronising, it was only meant to inform but somehow my comment seems to have come out colder than I intended :(

Its ok. Its prolly the blue lettering lol jk. When it gets down to it were on the internet so you kinda get used to the keyboard jerkery(yes i made that one up) and childish fighting lol. I had my duh moment when i realized you meant the coding not the little line that tells me where to go.

It would eventually end up like this: *pay attention to the Datsun.

SHEER MADNESS!

Forza Trollosport. :)

This is one area that licensing politics could prevent from ever matching reality. IRL, if a car hasn't had a Chevrolet V8 installed in it somewhere in the space-time continuum, it's probably because a Chevrolet V8 will not physically fit in that car. In the game, any attempt to replicate such cross-manufacturer swaps would bring the lawyers out of hiding, and I don't think PD could afford that.

^ according to the laws of redneck "engine"ering, a 30 pack 4 buddies a cherry picker welder and a sawzall can put any motor into any car no if's and's or but's. don't say it aint true because I have personally put a 305 chevy in a 96 Crown vic and have seen a Geo metro with a 350 sbc without extending the frame. for our international viewers V this is the metro model I am refering to.

I hope if PD does allow engine swaps, it's as realistic as possible. And by this I mean they don't put in unrealistic limits where by some force of magic, V-8 engines can't be stuffed into Mini's.

V8s and minis do very much go together. 👍 usually Rover V8s, but probably some heavier lumps as well that have been fitted.

You know I'd kinda like to see the ram be able to recieve the v10 from the ACR. that and the dirt tires for it not look like doughnut spares.

Or the Tundra be able to get the 2JZ, or even the Supra get the Tundra V8 :dopey:
