I don't want to take on the famous Famine (Because I know that I'll get burnt/flamed), but.....

What if it were in your future, to see your future? You see that you are going to be hit by a bus on [Insert Date Here] so you avoid that, only to be hit by another bus. It's just your future. You can adapt to it and make it a good one, but you can't change it.

Indeed. As I said, knowing your future changes your future. I didn't say it'd necessarily be a good one.

What you're talking about is fate - which is poppycock. And possibly you're also ripping off the plot of Final Destination.

I'm not doing **** that involves Final Destination. The plot of that is. If you avoid death, then the next person in line has to avoid it or they die. I'm saying. Sure you may avoid the bus, but there will always be another one. One you didn't see.

The plot is "X should have died, but didn't. Therefore "Death" will keep trying to kill "X"."

You're talking about fate. You say that you're fated to die beneath a bus, so that even if you see your future and avoid the fate, you'll die beneath the wheels of a different bus. Why should that be the case?

As I said, knowing your future changes your future - with no action required by you to change it - so that you no longer know it. It's a simple function of quantum mechanics. There's no guiding hand at work, no anthropomorphic personification.

**** I'm getting confused now. All I know is that I don't want to know my future. I want to live my life. Like I didn't know that I was gonna meet Corinne. I'm glad I didn't know. I was way more suprised when I saw her. If I had of known that I was going to meet her, then i'd be like Meh! whatever. Like I couldn't care less. (Guys complain all you want. This was the easiest example though. I'll shut up now.)

I'd only want to know selectively.
Agreed. There is only one thing I'd like to know about my future, and that is what I will be doing for a living. Everything else can wait (yes, even what car I drive).
