Did anyone exprience this kind of courtesy on SSR7? Look how they line up and wait take it in turn to get into the wall.

Every server I was in people were scrambling to be first, bumping each other like crazy. It was every man for himself.

Japanese players are very honourable:D No ramming or unclean overtaking.

Although it sometimes is difficult to communicate with them:crazy:

^Tell me about it. There was a Japanese exchange student in my English Composition class during my first year at college, and suffice to say it was really hard tutoring them. Especially when it came to l's are r's. She was cute though, but what good is cuteness when you can't really understand her?

If I see a Japanese room up online, I'll always try to enter over any other room. It's usually no show-offs, no rammers, and no blockers. Civilized is correct. :)

[They sometimes leave their mics on full while chatting to other players, forcing me to mute them:banghead:

Apart from that, they are usually much better than other racers and usually kindly tell you to leave the room if it was meant to be Japanese only, unlike some kickers Anes)
:D

I love how civilized they are too, they always make sure they never touch my car when racing, if only I could speak Japanese.

One time one of them accidentally clipped me in a drifting lounge, I spun out, and the person who did it tried to say 'sorry' many times, he eventually said 'sori'. Guess it's close enough :)

lol yea I like joinining Japanse server too but especially when they have mics.

When GT5 came out I had a good experience in a all japanese server with all GTR,'s Rx7s etc but I was using my my Tuned Veyron.

I would just rocket past them on the straights and ended up winning it was so funny listenint to their conversion during the race cos they were like

"urgh? aahhhh, VEEYRROOOOOOON, Psykodaa!

veeryyornrrnnnnnn..uohhhhhhh.

They seemenend like the had genuinanly not seen the car driven online. You just dont get that kind of reaction from english speaking country. It would be more like Veyron fag, of F-off etc.

Well maybe that was exactly what the japanese where saying to each other but you couldn't understand ;)

Couldn't we say the same thing about all cute women? :p

ON TOPIC: If you look at the racing roster, you'll see that they all have very similar PSN IDs... they're most probably a racing team like somebody else pointed out.

はいこの日本PSNはすごいまた日本友!てといば今日俺の友”I will help you jarod”俺の友がが言った、でもていうかちょっとつまらないよ。
また俺日本語はなせる笑。。。。。~

Anyway thats all i have to say on this matter

WTF is going on here? Seriously every video of GT5 I see is stupider than the previous one. I came here to have a gander at the game, and so far all I have seen is Vettel's hypothetical billion mile per hour fantasy car go round Monza in three seconds, and people queuing up for the pleasure of driving inside a concrete wall.

I find myself in japanese rooms more often then american rooms, Even when glitching they use manners.....But not all, Because the one that show manners are mostly adults, if i go into a younger room....i get bashed, rammed, And they also talk alot of crap to each other...

It's a shame really, I'm 13, and would never think to crash into somebody like that.

I often race in Japanese Super GT servers. I've had some great races in there.

They usually designate two players as safety cars, and do an out-lap with the 2 classes 30 seconds apart (GT300 ahead, GT500 behind).

I won a race outright at Suzuka in a Japanese Super GT server. It was weird being the lone Canadian in a room full of Japanese drivers, and not understanding the language but the level of competition is incredible and they drive so much cleaner than most North American servers I've been in. If you race clean and by their rules, they usually don't seem to mind you joining in.

When I did do it we did it politely and we were all american
You just have to find those rooms with mature people who know how to drive
.. Most of the recommended rooms for me are like that
Then theres aways some dude whos cursing and what not so I either mute or he gets kicked
I dont have alot of problems online most of the time.

Respect. I was first and lined up and everything one time and some guy rammed me in the rear bumper. i still ended up getting in first (after being hit 2 more times) but i still wanted to kick him in the chest with both feet

I always like how civilized the japanese players are. Why can't the entirity of online be like them, instead of idiots?

Not all Japanese players are like this, I've run into a few douchebag JP racers. But albeit nowhere near as many compared to other countries.

Not to kill anyone's fantasy world but this is also a common practice in US lobbies. They put max penalty and false start then they line up in order of arrival. :)

In a Nascar race full of Japanese people. Literally, its how Nascar on Daytona 'ought to be with two car drafting; inside and outside lines (nothing in between) and a smooth race with no glitchy racers.

Full damage, full penalties, Boost off...

That's how you get a Lobby without most of the idiots.

This is what you should be able to search for in the Online section. 'Race for fun' 'Race for real' doesn't get it done.

The worst race i've ever been in was on a japanese server. Its was a gt500 race at suzuka. The first corner EVERYONE went off, ether from being rammed or ramming someone. from there it was like a destruction derby. people ramming each other on the straights and using each other as bumpers on the corners. even had someone driving backwards into people, have'nt seen that since i've played GTR2.

In short the are as bad as the rest of the world, like with any other country you just have to find the right poeple.

The only thing I don't like about American rooms is that people are over anxious to do Tandem Drifting and they don't really have the Basics down. For example on Tskuba, 90% of people take the wrong lines on turns, supposed to be out-In-out and if you do take another line observe your exit. Most people i encounter take up the Middle of the Road, then they are Slow . If ur slow please say at the back of the Line.

If you've ever been to Japan you will see why their trains aren't vandalised, their streets are clean and people just get on with each other. It's called respect for others.
