That is very inaccurate. It can handle really well, and thats part of the problem, it's a luxury car and VW want it to feel like one inside so no hash rides like in a Lamborghini. Also it was never delayed, it was supposed to launch in 2004 after that intial delay, the media apologised to VW for that mis-information including about the handling.
