Hello everyone,

I'm trying to collect an idea of how many people here are playing WRC 2010.

I live in U.S, so... offically we havent got this game yet, but I had a copy shipped over from the U.K about 2 months back.

I love this game, well...aside from the odd graphics...and no clutch or H shift support.

Anyone else from the U.S playing WRC 2010? or anyone in general who enjoys this game?

Should be a few, but there won't be much left (if any at all) when DiRT3 hits the stores.

I was hoping to get it thru gamefly , but it was canceled for the u.s looks interesting though , as of now im trying to get a imported copy of motorstorm Apocalypse.

Where did you purchase your copy of WRC ? cause im a bit nervous of buying it on Ebay.

Did they have patches for it? When i tried it as a demo the graphics on the PS3 was terrible and the physics was not something to talk about.

It went through a company named BOSCO Games. They already had it in stock and were located in NY. Got it in 4 days.

Surprisingly the first time I put it into my PS3 an update notice popped for the first patch. Downloaded just fine...it was only for occasional bugs.

The graphics aren't bad there just different...but thats my oppinion. The physics feel really good. Not as unforgiving as RBR...feels similar to GT5 rally...but when you hit the brakes the car actually slows down and it feels 100% more responsive. The game makes you focus on being precise, consitent, and smooth like a real rally driver.

How is the force feedback on the PS3?

Smooth, progressive, responsive. The wheel to game response is as sharp if not sharper then GT5.

If your looking for over the top "Dirt 2" style wheel shaking and vibration over the rough surface you wont find it in WRC 2010. You get smooth rumbles and wheel jerks from hitting puddles, ruts, banks, jumps. It feels very tight and solid.

The actual tire to road force feedback feels spot on. You feel the pull of long drifts and elevation changes in stage surfaces and road camber. The best part is the force feedback is progressive! None of that on-off crap that plauged Dirt 2.

Gameplay was designed with a wheel...specifically a logitech wheel. The fine print actually states they developed the game using logitech force feedback technology.

Yup, I enjoy this game very much. I totally agree with AWDwhite_2g about the physics. I play It on a PS3 with G25. I am at about 60% of the loooonnnng career but progress came to a halt when I discovered on line. The on line part of WRC2010 is fantastic.

Dirt/Dirt 2 are fun and so will be Dirt3, while WRC is just straight up hardcore rally, very well executed maybe not visual but more important the feeling of the cars. And I can recommend the group B cars for a real challenge !
