Not the best of starts for Rally Saudi Arabia after it's official test event.

There weren't any super/hypercars or gaudy SUVs, of course it was sparsely attended.

Tanak has been involved in an incident which as left a scrutineer with minor injuries after being struck by Tanaks car at a tyre check. 5 minute penalty and suspended 35 point deduction.
Tanak on his first rally this year road clearing, pushing too hard and crashing, then getting more and more wound up and striking an official really highlights how Evans has done a good job of just keeping his head down these past few gravel rallies.

Today Toyota has achieved a top-five lockout at Rally Finland in WRC.

P1 Rovanperä
P2 Katsuta
P3 Ogier
P4 Evans
P5 Pajari

The only time something similar happened was in 1990 Rally Portugal with Lancia.

P1 Biasion
P2 Auriol
P3 Kankkunen
P4 Cerrato
P5 Bica

And with that, Ogier has committed to fighting for the title. Committing to the next 4 rounds plus Saudi if he's in contention.

Why doesn't he just commit to one more full season, he's clearly fast enough to do it.
