That's a lovely thing to say bud. I'm doing them cos it's got me hooked, not for any recognition.

Added a 43 to the RS200 and as I love a classic livery I've started an Ascona.

Did a bit extra on the Ascona and ran out of decals on the very last placing so can't do the extra block Rothmans livery. But pretty chuffed with how this turned out.

Manta is pretty much done. I had to concede defeat on the hole in the small letter E in the 'Shell' on the bonnet it's just too small, plus I hit the decal limit

WEC team Iron Lynx to expand into rallying

Seeing this I tried to replicate them in the game.

I also did a base white/black/red livery to work out the livery first before adding the colour.

Just added text to the bonnet as a trial, was pretty easy to do

Thanks for that, I'm a bit obsessed it's fair to say haha.
I finished the lettering on the other side now, it's a good job we have the mirror feature for the shapes, cos the bull would have have been a bugger to do again.
Onto the next livery.

Livery editor keeps improving. With this new update, you can tilt the image and it stays there whilst editing, which means you can see round the edges to check for bleeding a lot easier. Also once you've adjusted a layer, it stays where you were in the list rather than springing back to the top.
One other thing i noticed was when you duplicate a decal, it goes under the previous one, before it went on top

Here's my latest one. Hirvonen's Focus.
Layer limit on the rear stopped me using Abu Dhabi ( I tried it, was 6 layers short even simplifying it ) so Ultimate went there.
Front limit was too low to get anything on the lower red bits.
Hit the limit on the bonnet
Left side limit again was reached so the little Karcher logo in front of the door, I mirrored from the other side to fool it haha.
But here you go. Once again, no PC mod files were used as I'm on console.

Only just spotted this thread. Some awesome work in here, so far about 95% of my time in the livery editor has been spent trying to perfect the Subaru blue and gold colours!

Finally made an attempt at the livery editor. Like others have alluded, it desperately needs number/letter fonts.

Assuming licensing keeps both fonts and branding out of the game. Bummer.

There's some nice work in here. I love livery editors when they're really good, but I'm not a fan of this one. I just slap some stock sponsors over pallet-swapped default livery schemes and call it a day.

@Tool1312 sorry, i’m a bit late to the party here. With your lettering, are you just manually creating each letter using the shapes? Just wanted to make sure i wasn’t missing a trick before i starting trying to create “martini” for my 2001 and 2002 Focus’ haha

Edit: i’ve just seen your post about how you created the Ford letters😂
I’m guessing other words use the same method… but i imagine “ford” is easy in comparison to longer ones haha

Yeah, Ford was a bit difficult the first time I tried it, then got a bit quicker afterwards but I'm not fully consistent. Some are better than others.
