Don't even get started with thumb injuries. Those go crazy.

Anyways, when can we race? Currently I'm B speccing in the Super GT race in Extreme Events (Never knew it's going to take an hour :crazy: )


Still need to practice with the C4.
 
Try this experiment try the Nordwand K trail with 0 ABS, then repeat with 7. On the quick downhill section it is much easier to brake without just sliding down the slope.
 
Tonight 8pm est as usual. And I will, but I was referring more to differences between numbers like 2, 5, 7, 10, if one was better than the rest.
 
ah I see. yeah Ill have to figure that out. Ive found the 5-7 range is best for me. but it might just come down to preference.
 
Well I'm not doing anything we could change it if you'd like. I just chose 8 because it's the same time as Tuesday and nobody is eating at 8 o'clock.
 
Too late to race? I forgot, to busy on B-Spec. Got lot's of money from the Dream Car Championship.
 
Sorry I was extremely busy with other stuff, ended up sleeping at 9 o'clock I was so tired...is anybody else planning on doing this? It's using up a lot of effort to keep checking this thread. I'd love to do it but a 3 man race is no fun. I'm thinking about scrapping this.
 
I mentioned it to them but I don't think I got any reply back. From what it seems they're more of a casual racer, not really too organized or anything.
 
We can't be the only three interested in rallying on gt5. maybe everyone who prefers rally just plays RSRBR on pc...


If this league doesnt work Ill probably go to RSRBR 11. or maybe wait for dirt3...

Richard burns racing. an old pc game that people have modded to keep current. it has good physics, but the graphics are lackluster. Ive been trying to go to the games sections of all the rally forums I know to see if i can spark more interest.
 
I've actually been looking into that but prices for that game on PS2 are $80+, I also tried...acquiring by other means the game data onto a disc but I couldn't find anything.

I might install it into my computer, a PC download seemed much more popular.
 
PC is the way to go with that game. its about ten bucks and then you can use the mod with updated cars, tracks, etc. if this league does end up getting scrapped, we should atleast try to keep a thread for rally enthusiasts.

I've tried! Impossible to find in America, unless you want to pay $70+ :crazy:

Hmm. I'll have to consider that. My computer is alright, definitely not gaming oriented but those graphics don't seem too intense haha. Do you think I could handle it? I could find my specs and post them if you tell me what to find.

Yes but it looked like they offered the UK version and shipping was only 4.98. you can preorder the other which should ship may 10th.

Or that has real racing that is actual skill not zombie like memorization of a track until you have a perfect line.
 
It doesn't seem like a lot of development was put towards the rally side of the game though. They even left the point-to-point function out of the course editor which is described in the manual.

i was but internet is stupidly slow so i gt5 is is really slow so can't do one now
would have done it last night but because of the time difference couldn't stay awake and so woke up to find bob had given me a 200k present

Really? They don't have any money on them. I told them they couldn't have an advance but they just don't listen.
