I had a chance to play WRCIII at the Playstation experience. But I didn't because of all those GT4 demos.

I'll buy it, even though I never got around to playing WRCII and sorta permanently lent it to Keeno.

Looks pretty spiffy. I've only played WRC and this one looks substantially better. I also like the "Bird's eye view" camera idea a lot. It starts out higher than this and zooms all the way in.

if ya like wrc go get wrc2 if ya want a cheap game LM, cause it just went platinum :)
wrc3, from what i can tell isnt substantially different. tho it is based on the 03 season.
 
You Americans don't even have WRC II yet do you? ***Cracks up*** :p
 
I don't understand how that's funny.

I'm not a big rally fanatic so I might as well wait for the latest and greatest. Personally I like the rally in GT3 better than WRC. I enjoy lap races with competition simultaneously running. In WRC the stages also seemed a bit short. Shouldn't they be more like 150 miles?

I very much doubt it, i've never seen a 150mile stage watching WRC.

GT3's rally handling was kinda lame compared to WRCII. I mean all the tracks were all the same surface and the handling was very tame. WRCII on the other hand has different surfaces (ice, sand, gravel, tarmac etc), it was also really seat of the pant's stuff (I'd love to see what it was like with a steering wheel) and it had another thing that GT3 doesn't have, a sense of high speed when driving fast.

I played that Grand Canyon track on the GT4 demo and to tell you the truth the rally handling hasn't seemed to progress, feeling very simmilar to GT3. The tarmac handling was ****ing awesome though, but that has nothing to do with this.
 
another reason to look forward to gt4 :D

yeah gt3s rally is rather lame.
the sense of speed in wrc2 really is awsome!!

Because NTSC usually gets games before us, and this is the second game (GTC) that we get waaay before you guys ever get it (unless you import it and have a chip). So it's funny. For me. I'll shut up now.
 
you guys ever play Colin McRae 3?

I got hooked on that game for a week, the inside view is amazing!! Ecspecially the Japanese stage, it's raining!!! The windshield wiper is going off, o man, so cool.
 
nah wrc is my 1st rally game... pretty slow learning curve. took me a while to get used to the shift buttons and steering (which i slowed down to min for the first 2 rallies).
 
I hate CMR 3.0. It totally sucks mainly because you can only use the Ford for the championship. :irked: But I played CMR 4, and it's much more promising.
