Uh, I don't know about crappy WWE stuff i'm pretty sure that is fake.

Go watch some decent wrestling like XPW, CZW or even Japanese stuff and then tell me that people didn't get hurt.

Yes it is all scripted but it does hurt (I have first hand experience, stupidly enough).
 
To a point,... it is real,... but when you watch Lawler pile-drive someone,... the dude's head "does-not" hit the mat.

If you want REAL wrestling, I suggest you check ESPN for highlights of the National Collegate Wrestling Title Race. (NCAA Wrestling)
 
my dads cousin is Kevin Nash aka Diesel aka Big Daddy Cool aka etcetc. I know a thing or two about wrestling..

and I know how a piledriver works also, its like doing a handstand, you use your hands to keep your head from hitting the floor.

but wrestling is real except for those punches lol I mean look at them! :lol: joys of network television

Anyway, I know that wrestling is faked, WWE wise anyway. But I still like it. Go to WWE.com and their openly admittant that its fake and even discuss why they turned their characters into what they are. They are a superb actors and I quite enjoy WWE PPVs and can't wait for Wrestlemania 19.

I also like proper wrestling like Pride FC.

So there. By the way that question still stands.

And for trivia fans, Brock Lesnar was former NCAA. And Scott Steiner was nicknamed The Genectic, Big Poppa Pump etc.

Thats cool, you know Kevin Nash.

I went to a FWA show on sunday and I got to see Juventud Gurrera (I think thats how you spell it) and Jerry Lynn (Some cool English wrestlers were there as well like Jody Fleish). I even got their autographs on a T-Shirt and Jerry Lynn was the same height as me 5'9!

I dont consider the time period from when kane came in as wrestling.. I'm talking back in the good ole days with superfly and terry and ultimate warrior and lex luger and all those great performers.

but on a brighter note I would like to see you get powerbombed through a table and tell me its fake :p

oh and anyone with i-net can do a quick search on google and find out kanes real name is glen jacobs.. has nothing to do with knowing a lot about WRESTLING :D

Why I would want to know his real name is beyond me but youre obersavtional skills are overwhelming in the case of me having research skills.. but the real congrats should go to google. Without them, I don't know where I'd be right now

Well. In honesty I don't watch wrestling for the storylines. I basically watch it for the sheer skill of the wrestling itself and the way in which the acting is handled (in which case, superb).
 
I havent seen Backyard Wrestling yet, but I'm waiting for wrestlemania to come up.. who's youre favorite superstar?
 
Rob Van Dam (for the aerobatics)
Kane (for his sheer power)
And X-Pac (for coping with a broken neck. This also applies to Austin, Chyna and Chris Benoit)
