Sorry to post a new thread flat-out but a PM just didn't feel right for this one.
First off, Flat-Out, you are currently an active Wiki contributor and it seems fitting that you would estabish the WRS envolvement with the Wiki.
So when the time comes, Flat-Out should be the one to start this (don't go new-page-happy on me just yet racers).
Now the subject at hand...
What can the WRS bring to the Wiki?
Let the ideas flow. 💡
I'll get things started by saying that each week should be recorded in the wiki with a few comments on the car, setup (parts), and any advanced technique that was discussed throughout the week.
Think of this as a chance to bring the "OLR School" to the Wiki in the most active OLR-breeding pool of the GTP.
Almost like "what the WRS has taught us" with weekly installments by any contributor but with the editing of all racers from that week.
Honor will have to be with all of us to agree about the Wiki contributions, but overall I have faith that everyone can work together.
Links to the replays of each weeks winner can also be contributed. 👍
So...
What do you all think?
Also...
Flat-out, please get back to all of us in this thread when you can.
Finally...
Remember racers, don't go off to the Wiki starting up an Official WRS page.
(but feel free to get started with the wiki using "My Talk" as well as any of the other great features of the wiki)
Oh, and how could I forget...
"My Racing" is an idea I just had the other day.
Take a post from your past, edit that post to serve as a history of your laps in the WRS. 👍
Also post any other racing you want!
Organize it however you wish!
Plus, use the VB system to get great leaderboards.
Then, link that post in your sig as my racing!
Or, better yet, do a wiki page about your racing, link your leaderboard in your wiki page, and regularly update on your current GT4 efforts.
Go on now, get started with your Wiki work as well as your ideas about greater WRS contributions.
