Raceday for Monza.

Room open 6.45pm, quali begins 7pm, race start at 7.45pm, standing start.

Race 2 – Monza 200 @ Monza NC
56 laps / 200 miles / 42 laps to be classified.

Monza, the very mention name conjures up images of speed and glory. 200 miles on a Monza without the first chicane, meaning nearly a whole minute is spent flat out around this historic track. Speed and concentration will be the goal for victory in this historic race.

Will Jaguar make it two from two? Can Chapparal strategise their way to the win? Can Ford unlock the pace? Or will Ferrari finally come to show their hand?

And how will improved C2 field look? Could they shock? We'll find out tonight!​

got home in time but had an awful day racing so decided to give it a miss. if i had driven like some of the drivers that were racing today i would have won by 3 laps because i would have taken everyone out enough times top lap everyone. how's it looking in the race?
 
I know Sam, I was looking good for a top 5 from 18th but I got hit off :(

Good race today, and I'm glad to come away with the C2 win.

But I think the cars need a bit of adjustments. The Corvette has too much HP, and the Camaro doesn't have enough. When I passed a Camaro, they couldn't even keep up in my draft.
 
very happy with a podium and beat furi in ferrari's back yard
 
I should have stuck with mediums for the whole race. Didn't have enough power in the car to get the fastest lap at the end (I lost a good 25bhp or so in the race). Another Jag 1-2 though. 👍
 
I lost 45 seconds and wore mediums out in 7 laps. Used hards, only lost 1-2 seconds per lap at end of stints, and they lasted 11 laps :D
 
Only wish I could have taken part.
 
Great race, think it would have been close between us Joe if you had gone with the strategy as me, congrats on 2nd though, another Jag 1-2 :)

Weather changeability is always 10. Will open lobby with a damp track.
