WSCC Historic Gran Prix

XGq4.jpg

This event will engage our members in a fierce battle over a scarce few points for the World Sports Car Club Historic Grand Prix Championship!

The first part of this event is acquiring all of the Group 6 race cars featured in the table below. Members can sign up for the event before having all of the cars in their garage.

Each car must then be fully upgraded and power ratings set to the specification as show on the table to meet race specifications. Members will have to select what car they will race for each event as each car can only be raced twice in the championship. Testing to determine which car performs better on each track is extremely important to make your final decisions.

The power ratings in the table shown actually make these cars very closely matched, testing showed the same average lap times on Nurburgring GP/D. There are however cars that will do better than others on different tracks.

Members may select their car of choice for the pre-season race. (there are no points for this race)

No start date yet, once we have enough members signed up we will start the pre-season.

To sign-up please become a member and use the WSCC forum thread "Event Sign-up.

I would like to join this, but when I try to click the 'join us' buttons or any of the logos, I get a 'not found' url...

i have three of the five cars, im up for this sounds good. would like to know a ruff start date if possible. marshs4 will probably be up for this i let him know.

Sorry guys, this is actually an old event from the prawny-era of WSCC (feb 2011) , when the club had its own webpage.
With the clubs recent expansion and many new members, it might be worth re-proposing this one as an after-summerbreak event. Ill put the idea forward in the stewards forum.

Any interest in this? I am very interested though would prefer a shorter schedule and perhaps limit it to the "historic" tracks that these cars would actually have raced on.
