Omg, I just realized its Wednesday. I missed the race.

i missed a series race earlier in that day also thats why i stopped in over here needed some serious racing action. drove a great race was able to stop and do donuts until the rears were gone before they got close enough for me to cross the finish line!!!! thanks for the action guys some great really close racing for the first few laps, but thanks to a error free race i was able to dominate 👍

I was thinking about changing the last race to Spa. The DLC comes out tomorrow and I know most of us will be itching to run on it. I guess not all of us will be getting it but I think if the host has it everyone can run on it. Just an idea. We can run Nurburg if you guys want to. Let me know what you think.

OP updated.

Round 6 wasn't counted since neither host was present at race start to verify everything. And the fact that lucky won, who decided to leave this series after round 2. Either way, i'm glad you guys were able to get together and have a good race.

Now i won't be racing tomorrow night, however if sassafrass can't make it, i'll be there for race start. Round 6 nulifies the concept of everyone dropping their lowest or missed race points as the series was already short enough. However the finale is still double points and that means thats there's still a three way battle for the championship! Best of luck to everyone!

Final race of SuperGT season is tonight at 7:30pm PST at Nurburg GP/F. Please try and make it so we can go out with a good race. Hope to see everyone.

thanks for the invite but sounds like pope is mad :grumpy: and doesn't want me to race so have some good clean fun without me boys

Interesting race last night. I thought it was gonna be a more evenly matched race. The first turn looked like everyone got thru fine. I was doing good at first then started loosing pace. I had a near collision with Sass pulling back on course in the high speed chicane. I know he couldn't see me so I swerved off into the sand. Too close. Then somewhere after lap 25 I lost internet. It took an hour for me to get back on. If we are redoing Sazuka I probably won't be there. It was not a fun race for me. The Supra doesn't work well there. I had fun running my first series. I learned allot and met some really good competitors. I hope my next series will be less problematic. Be seein ya.

Round 7 Nurburg GP/F Results:

1. Nic-KL
2. GrayFox
3. Drex
4. Death
5. Sassafrass

Yeah thedude got booted but that was after I had parked it on lap 18. So technically he should finish higher than me. I'm not sure how to score that. I was not properly prepared for this race at all. I hadn't played in two weeks and just kept running off into the sand. Nic and Drex were having a great battle for about the last 10 laps until Drex ran out of fuel on the last lap. Doh!

I seriously had alot of fun racing with you guys and hope to do more in the future. I working on some new series ideas for this winter. I'll keep you posted.

Congrats to Nic. I was online last night but we were prepping for a new Lemons series. Given the attendance rate and the fact I dominated on this track during the pre-season I didn't bother to race.

GT500 is fun, but it is clear that the cars are not fairly matched when a PP system is used. At one point I drove some of the opponent's cars at Tokyo and I really couldn't get them to run as fast as the NSX. The only track I couldn't tune for was Deep Forest. I never quite figured that one out.

Umm, I don't see any mention of the finale being double points in any of the top posts. When was this rule inacted? 👎

I suggested it. Not everyone was on board with the idea, so I posted on this same page that we were going ahead as scheduled. This is the second time in two pages that you've threatened to leave, if you don't want to be here then there's nothing I can say.

However, if there was confusion as to whether or not this was a points race I'm willing to change things a bit. Everyone can drop their lowest points finish, with the exception of the finale which will be double points.

It was mention here, and was always the plan when planning the series. Not sure how I missed that it wasn't on the OP. At this point I'm not sure it's worth arguing, our season points leader wasn't even interested in participating. Hope you guys managed to have some good battles during the series. These cars were to much for me, and with our other problems, I'm done with GT5 online for awhile, and done hosting for good. Just too much headache and I've no time for it anymore.

I'll update the standings shortly, with double points for round 7. Even if it wasn't on the OP, it was mentioned before the race.

Mentioned one day before the race in some sort of effort to create a 3-way battle for the championship. Might as well have just thrown out the entire season. But whatever. It's not like I would actually win anything.

As i quoted above, i mentioned this after the first round. I didn't make it up to make things interesting, or "some sort of effort to create a 3-way battle."

Congrats to Nicktune on the win! Only 2 points behind was Grayfox, followed by Chuyler.
