i will test gt500 and gt300 and i normally race in gt300 so i think you can test what you want

Just opened up my private lounge. Feel free to join. my PSN: chorda

Be right there. Prepare for some serious shenanigans gents. I am gonna spin Pag out tonight. ;)

J/K I have enough issues catching him and keeping myself from spinning. ;)

sorry guys ive had to go to work, big problem hopefully i will sort it out and be on in a bit

Gotta say...
This looks good so far. Cars in GT 300 look very even. Great awsome job Aderrrm. 👍
Had some good fights today aswell.
Great fun. God. How I missed racing with you guys. 👍

Season 2 is shaping up to be AWSOME

I couldn't make it on until today. Busy with end of the year school work. Didn't expect it to be so heavy. Guess all of the guys on the other side of the pond have checked out. So if anyone else is down to do alternate testing later on tonight, hit me up 👍

There's still 3 and 1/2 guys at the room.
Mule is there, but other are europeans so maybe not there for long.

Oh. The 1/2 it's me. I'm just watching now. :) Too tired after all the testing.

My Celica is proving to be fun to drive. Was pretty lose to start off, but after I swapped the Ride Hight settings around (stupid glitch), it stiffened up a bit.

Can't wait for this to start.

BTW, are we going to be doing Driver Profiles again, for us rookies?

Sorry I had to cut out early guys, it was a lot of fun running with ya's. I think I've settled on running the Scooby. It's a nice car and I really enjoyed hugging those turns.

MULE: No, we will not include driver profiles this season. Everybody don't want to do it, and it only looks stupid if some got one and others don't.

Great testing today guys! Great turnout as well. To sad tony1311 entered the room and ran 3 sec faster than everybody else  . He did use a car that was to powerful and did not stick to the 2 wheel on track/curb at all during that 1.45.7 lap, so we're probably "just" 2 seconds slower.. LOL. He is sooo fast. Just floats away when you're behind him.

Results for GT300's look really good. What I'm most curious about is that I followed a discussion about the Subaru and the Lexus in the chat. Was one of them a bit to quick, or was it both.. or none of them? All I managed to snap up was that there was something that you guys was debating..
I also made a typo about the lexus PL. It should be 97,8 not 79.8 as stated in the OP.

GT500's then. Well, I magaed to run within 0,8 (1.48.4-1:49.2) of a second with the NSX at 610 pp, MOTUL GT-R at 610 pp, PETRONAS at 612, and the YELLOWHAT SUPRA at 608 pp. The NSX is not final yet, but I had to give it a go. But it is hard to drive. And I really need to say it again, I'm reallt impressed in the way C-Falcon89 handles that car at 601 pp. 👍
Would love to hear your opinion. I noticed that most of the GT500 drivers ran there "old" car to compare. What was your results?

And on anothe note: My Lounge is probably not the best way to do it. GTP_Senninha could not get in to my room. I also got dc'd (for the 2.nd time ever) from my own room, and I saw some lag and minir issues, sich as GTP_Aderrrm's car was transparant. Next test (probably a week after the Suzuka race this friday), we'll do it in an open lobby as always and see if everything works a bit better. Don't think I've had any issues at all during the first season. Part from randoms entering and sending me angry PSN-messages when kicked for drifting in our WSGTC room with a S2000 or similar.

Yeah that Lexus PL had me confused, I posted about it earlier. Anyway, having driven the Celica in WSGTC1 I want to try something else in season 2. So far:

IS300 - loved the high-speed corner handling but for some reason the rear end was snapping out on me out of low speed corners...much worse than any other GT300 car...could it be because of the 362hp? Or maybe it's just a setup issue.

Cusco Impreza 4WD - this car is absolutely on rails with 20/80 F/R center diff!!! Good power, too but the front end tirewear is brutal... at 10/90 tirewear is better but rear end getting loose...interesting car, very different. Easiest to drive for sure. Don't have to constantly worry about spinning out like the rest. I think I saw Kamy do the fastest time around GV in the low 1.54's in this car.

MR-S Good performer overall, good top speed. Twitchy under brakes and corner speed not as good as in the IS300 but well balanced. Always feels on edge somehow.

hoping the open lobby will help me (and you) can anyone remember who was host in the gt300 race at la sarthe one of the few times i have been able to be in a lounge with other then myself:)

Yeah the IS350's back end does come out more because of it's extra power, but I find it very controllable to be honest. I'd say the Garaiya and MR-S are worse at that.

The MR-S is definitely the worst handling car. The reason being, the MR-S wasn't that slow stock compared to the RX-7 (0.7 seconds) but only needed a littlle kick up the backside. So if you attach a stage 1 turbo, you're getting way too much power from the engine and so you have to power limit it alot. Along with it's already dodgy power curve, the power limiter makes it worse and flattens it even more. I think it's at peak power for about 2000 rpm. Which means coming out of a corner you need to be at either an rpm which is quite a bit below peak power, or is actually at peak power. If you're at 4000 rpm and you nail the throttle, there's a massive jump in power up to peak power which causes the snappy oversteer and edginess. The Celica has a flat power curve aswell, for the same reasons as the MR-S, but handles better in general anyway.

So would it be possible to add perhaps 25kg to the MR-S (making it 1150kg) so we can reduce the power limiter a bit?

Hopefully this could help a bit with it's handling, because I really felt the difference in stability between this and the RX-7 last night on a DS3.

Sure Aderrrm. What ever you have to do to get the playingfield equal, I'm up for iit.
Question is: How much will you be able to change that power curve?

The only reason I asked was if people decide to use the car, they might get confused if they end up receiving ballast on top of this normal weight addition.

I could put the power curve back to normal, but you'd probably have to add 100kg and that would make the car fast down straights, but slow around corners. So it's all about compromise.

I might do the same with the Celica because that has a flat power curve aswell but I'll try it out.

btw: Did someone send you a standard GARAIYA to test?
When tony1311 can't win with it, it's probably to slow. 💡

During the day, I'm going to do some similar hot-lap testing at Grand Valley as I did at the Nurburgring during.

Yeah Kamy sent me a Garaiya. Just done about 10 laps with it at stock, and it was 3 tenths faster than the RX-7 and premium Garaiya. So right now (well, after F1 quali) I'm trying to figure out how much to power limit it by.

Really aderrm??
Did you test its top speed.
I had a great fight with tony when I was in the IS350, and he had problems because he was slower on straights. He may had a bad setup, with bad gear ratios maybe.

Some more results:

Lexus BANDAI DIREZZA SC430

Lexus ENEOS SC430
Turbo stage 2
1100 kg
538 bhp
612 pp
PL: -
Lap: 1:48.588

NOTE: Lexus ENEOS SC430 at the bottom at GV as well as at Nurburgring. Not by much, but probably enough for no one to pick it. Will probably exclude it.
All other cars are withing 3-4/10 of a second. I'd say that's whitin the margin of error rather than an spot on number on it's performance. (I'm not as exact as Aderrm :) )

Cars still waiting for test results:

Honda EPSON NSX

Nissan WOODONE ADVAN CLARION GT-R

I'M also waiting for feedback from the GT500 drivers from the test yesterday. This is the only oportunity we got to make the cars equal, there is no way we can start testing mid season, changing cars, allow/remove mods. Everything needs to be set prior round 1. So please, some feedback please. It's highly possible that I've judged some cars in a bad way. I'm not a robot like Aderrrm ;) , so I kindly ask for your opinions and feedback. Thanks

Yes, I wouldn't lie would I lol. I don't think the Lexus' aero is that good. Well it's good in terms of cornering, but on the top end of a straight it seems to struggle. See for yourself comparing the Lexus and standard Garaiya.

Car - Time - BHP - Weight - PP - Top speed home straight - speed at apex of 1st schumacher S - top speed back straight - Mods

Garaiya S - 2:02.071 - 330 - 1125 - 536 - 142 - 107.5 - 138 - stock
IS350 ---- 2:02.379 - 362 - 1150 - 551 - 142.5 - 108.5 - 139 - Stage 3 engine tuning, power limiter 97.8%

You'll see once I post all my results, but the key thing to note is that the speed at the apex of the 1st Schumacher S tests a car's acceleration from 2nd/3rd gear up to 5th gear. The Lexus is 1mph faster, which is quite a lot and probably the reason it seemed Tony couldn't keep up with you on a straight. But by the end of the straight, that speed difference is reduced to 0.5mph. Although it might not have been the case, Tony might not have been shifting at the right point either, which is around 6250 rpm in the Garaiya.

Lol.
You liar. :P
As I said tony shouldn't have that car setup right. And I use to run low downforce at the back, so maybe that explains it.

Aderrm's numbers are ok. My Garaiya had no oil change and break-in and i had 303bhp in yesterday's race. That explains the lack of speed on the straights.

Ha ha.
Ok Aderrrrm. You're no lair. :dopey:
Lol.

Let me thank you for the amazing job you testing this cars.
