Hey guys!

I've been looking all over ebay and craigslist for one of these. Always wanted to own one, but by the time I had the funds it was discontinued from Fanatec's website :( It was this seat here:

I've missed a few chances to buy one and now that my Vive is here I'm searching through forums in the hopes someone is looking to sell theirs. I'm in the US, Florida, to be specific. Please let me know if anyone is interested or knows a place I can find one!

Thank you!

Oh nice! But unfortunately it won't ship to the US :/

When I select it under shipping, I get an "out of region" error.

If it helps, expand your search to look for a used Rinoseat GTR as well. It's the same product.

Thanks for the tip! But I even knew of, and wanted, this seat back when it was the Rinoseat GTR haha. Those were even more rare and searching for one today yields no results.

Sorry, I actually sold mine over a month ago on Craigslist. That seat was not comfortable at all and that's why I sold it, I replaced it with the gt omega racing seat.

Damn. The reason I want this over larger more comfortable seats is how lightweight and portable the CSL is. I don't have much space so I love how easy it is to fold up and store when not in use, all without sacrificing stability.

I'm willing to sacrifice a bit of comfort for that. Anything is more comfortable than my current solution of attaching the wheel to my entertainment stand and pulling up a part of my couch to it lol.

The CSL seat was light and stable, but it does not fold up. You would have to disassemble it to store it some where, the seat cushion itself was a piece of foam and there is no back cushion at all. If you are tight on space, what about a wheel stand? It would be easier to fold up and you could keep your couch where it's at.
I got the optional caster wheels to go with my gt omega rig so it is easier to roll around.

Here is the wheel stand I'm talking about.

And here is a picture of my rig.

Hmm I swear the Rinoseat GTR was foldable, must've been changed for the Fanatec version. At least I'd still be able to move and store it easily due to the light weight.

That stand doesn't look bad, but I'd still prefer a seat to give that cockpit feel.

Thanks for all the suggestions. It may seem dumb, but I just love the look and simplicity of the design for the CSL seat. Kinda just dead set on finding one haha.

The seat isn't adjustable and forces you to hunch over, especially if you are tall like me. I had to return mine after sitting in it for about 10 seconds. Just a heads up, it must not bother everyone as it's a popular model.

Thanks for the heads up. How tall are you? I'm around 5'10 so hopefully it wouldn't bother me much.

6'4", taller with shoes on, which I do wear shoes when I race.

I'm 6' (5'11" at the end of the day ;)) and I find the seat comfortable enough, but it could certainly be better. It's very upright, and it's built to be light, so it's basically an aluminum frame with deck chair webbing throughout and then a padded cover slips over it. I put a small cushion inside the cover to add lumbar support and that helps quite a bit. I also reversed the seat mounts during assembly, resulting in an extra degree or two of recline. If you can find one I'd still recommend it, especially if you need a really solid mount that doesn't take too much space. It handles the forces from my CSW V2 like it's nothing. It's also light enough for an adult to move by himself, even with everything mounted.

Nice, yeah that's what I love about it. It's so simple and thin that you'd think it would wobble or bend all over the place, but the engineering and design is so sound it stays as rock solid as a much heavier bulkier set up. I really hope I can find one lol.

Well seeing that the Australia store does still carry them gave me a little bit of hope. Does anyone know if there's any services or options I have for buying something there and getting it shipped here by a third party?
