i took my stock Spec-C into the Turbo cup races in Professional hall, i enter the midfield race, the opponents were something like SRT4, RX7 Bahaust R, WRX STi Prodrive edition, and this race gave me 200pts, all those opponents were relativly weak, i was able to beat the 2nd car by 3.5 seconds by the end of the 3 lap race.

after winning that, i went to the Fuji speedway race, using the same spec-C, this time, the race is only 177pts and the opponents were clearly NOT stock. the EVO8 RS was quite a bit faster then my Spec-C and pretty much all other cars GTR NuR, Supra, WRX STi in that race was much faster then my Spec-C

wtf is going on... the easier race gave more points yet the harder race gave less

 Like golf, Ha-ha.

Anyways, yeah that does sound weird as hell. Shouldn't it be the opposite? Ha-ha.

I think he was serious.
Maybe it just gave you less points to make it a bit harder for you, same reason with the cars.

Anyone with the game,
Can you use your cars in GT Mode Garage for TT on any track in arcade mode?

yes, but it seems that the cars will not include the modifications done in GT Mode... I have a semi-modified AE86, but when I tried in in arcade TT, it was bone-stock... if you wanna test your mod-cars, you're gonna have to pay 500 crds to do it in GT mode...

does Free run still exist?

Thats what I'd like to know.

I want to be able to buy my first car and test a few mods at the nurburgring. Is this possible form pretty much the start or do you have to pay?

And how long can you test the car at the track if you have to pay and can you exit to tweek something and get back on the track without paying?

Maybe it's like golf and the goal is to have the least amount.I don't have the game so I'm just guessing.
Holy crap. I never thought I would see the day that golf and racing were compared!

well, it's based on power and torque, so the case could be that the cars simply handled/drove better in one race, thus getting better times, it's often the case. Don't sweat it. I still haven't been able to find out exactly what A-Spec points are for, I think it's just another high score method, to challange yourself, try to get higher points etc, with weaker cars, just adds a little replay value, nothing more.

buy car
goto one of 4 sections: Dirt & Snow, City Courses, Original Courses, Real Courses
you usually have 4 options...free run = 500 cr, track day = 500 cr, photo run = 500 cr, and amateur race = free.

i think for the free run/photo run, you get as many laps as you want, exit out, adjust settings and go again for one price. in comparison, you start off with 1,000,000 cr so it's not a big investment :P i haven't tried amateur races or the track day yet.

there are other drivers running around the lap at the same time while u are driving on your own

its basically the same as the qualify session in championship race. just with a different name calling it track day

in GT Mode theres free run, trackday and quick race... all cost 500 creds each... in Arcade mode they have timetrials (which is like free run), except your modified cars won't be modified... you'll get all the cars you bought in GT mode, but they'll just be stock... unlike in GT3 where the arcade TT had access to your GT mode garage... if you wanna run/practice/setup your newly modified car, you'll have to do it in GT mode for 500 creds
