At the bottom of the article they talk about a product called liteglow that you can use to blind a road raged driver before things get out of hand using strobe light technology. Who the hell thought it was a good idea to blind a pissed off person while they are behind the wheel of a moving car? :dunce:

Edit: I meant to put this in the auto news section, so mods can feel free to move it unless they like where it currently sits.

I think you're misreading it. The thing to stop a road raged driver is from excaliburelectronics.

You're right, I did misread it sort of.

"Lite Glow offers strobe lights to blind the opposition (liteglow.com); and for dissipating road rage before it gets you in trouble there is Jackie The Joke Man, a push-button electronic joke and insult dispenser meant for mounting in the car; it should be on shelves in time for Fathers Day (excaliburelectronics.net/)."

excaliburelectronics is doing the road rage thing. But then what opposition is the lite glow description speaking of. This is really confusing me.
Good call on my misreading it though.

I also don't quite get what they mean with "Lite Glow offers strobe lights to blind the opposition". Blind which opposition?

If someone gets out of their car and comes towards you, you blind them with the lights.

Just hope they don't have an epileptic fit.

That's illegal.
So is speeding, *cough* running red lights, aftermarket colored headlight bulbs, etc. but people still do it. :)

I can think of two cars in my city that drive around with strobes on the underbody. It's lame, and I'm guessing the Police think the same thing and feel sorry for them.

When you click on the link for "www.liteglow.com," nothing happens. So that leads me to believe their product is either completely bogus or they thought twice about putting it in stores because of a little thing called LAWSUITS.

I agree with Anderton Prime. This doesnt sound legal at all to produce. Any idiot could just start blinding anyone on the road.
I could do that with the KC lights on my truck. They are 150watts and at over 385,000 candlepower and could easily blind an oncomming driver if they were turned on accidentially.
edit: Thinking back on my current statement, I forgot to realize that anything is possible these days.
