Really enjoyed the race guys. Well done Mr eppe.

The race was interesting. I started 4th somehow (Q: 1.18.6) Worked through to the lead and pulled out about 14 seconds on eppe. The pits was weird, as I was stationary for about 5 seconds after the tyres were changed???
Came out 3rd hoping that eppe would need to change tyres! He didnt so I had to try and catch him. Got down to a 1.18.1 and was about 4 seconds behind going into the last lap. Had one chance and got too sideways coming up the hill and that was that. He won by 0.4!

Shame Tharain couldn't make it, hope you get your system fixed.
 
Yes. We have to think of a better idea with the Q, cause its
not working.I was on pole with my 1´20 and Bigadz drove
1´18 and started 4th.:grumpy:

And regarding the quali problems... what shall we do? Maybe a 5 Lap quali race and the results will set the grid (fastest starts last).

Think thats quite a good idea ;)

And i kicked those who didn't show up and didn't even message me via PM or posting it here... again some spots open :/
 
I think we should consider changing the rules about pitstop.

And make it 1 mandantory pitstop, like you see in real life, to make it more fair :)

Im just saying.
 
I would say keep the pit as optional, if you put a pit stop as mandatory everyone will use the same tyres whereas like today eppe went to a harder tyre which was slower over a lap but lasted the race. I went with the opposite and there was just 0.4 in it at the end.
I'm going to have a quick go now at Fuji if anyone wants to join me...
 
Maybe because u guys are more even when using Stearing whell as i assume you do with that pace u guys have.

i was still slower on Racing Softs over a lap than eppe..

So i still think its fair to even out the competition a bit for the DS3 users :p
 
I think the qualifying worked right in the first race, only it was because i came off the track to change setting that it scrapped my time.
Eppe what grid start setting did you use yesturday only that might have been the reason it didnt work?

I used Fastest First, thats why I wonder why it didn´t work...?
Was Your name first in Your list Lambo? On mine U was 4.

Fair enough, weird. Next time there is a practice session we should test it out.

Well I was first on the list but then when it came to the race I was 4th. The fastest time showing up was my own at 1.18.6 something so then i just pulled to the side of the track and waited for the race.

I would prefer a small increase in laps, maybe make the race last 35 mins. But a good race, I made the big mistake using hard racing tires, and when I pitted I could not change anything. So I had to pit twice :( But when I got my soft tires on I could easily keep up with the other Scuderias.
 
I think i will do a practice session/race later on at Fuji and maybe try and work out the qualifying thing. If anyone wants to join then i will open a lounge probably about 2100. Psn: Bigadz83

Hopefully we can get some more regular racers during this season as well as its only 2 races in. Everyone has driven well from what I have seen so far so would be good to add to that.

Man alive after reading this I thought it was all off . I was in qualifying well the first two attempts . My yellow skyline with it's carbon bonnet was ready to tear up the Tarmac with those Ferraris n maclarens.

G's guess I'll have to wait untill next race now .

Any thought's on how the series is going and how it could improve? Personally im not practicing enough to be in contention for a 1st place finish but thats just me! I have to say though, no other races give me the same buzz that I get with these races.
Also I think it might be time to start inviting people from our friends lists to fill out the numbers. Guys we can count on showing up.
