Wut do you think the best car in GT4 will be theretically speaking wut kind of indy cars are coming for the occation. And also is GT4 online ""CHAT"" enabled?. Tell me wut you think and know.

duh, its going to be the motorcyle! it will have nos and eveythng i bet.
I cant wait :trouble: I will beat all of you online. noone canbeat me.

My prediction is the Midget is going to kick some serious ass. Mark my words.

How are we supposed to know what the best car will be, we don't even know all the car's that are going to be in the game.

Normally for something like this, I don't really reply. I just let GT4 come out and then be the judge. But if I had to choose, I'd like to race that Pescarolo Courage LMP. You know, the one with all the Gran Turismo sponsorship on it. It's not a cheap answer, just be interesting to race a car from a talented team.

Like Sleek Stratos said...The Midget will smoke up the tyres like turning on a lightswitch.Awsome grunt!!!!! :odd:

Nos?! Dude, that sounds sick! I can't wait for GT4, either!

How the hell can we possibly know what the best car is going to be? We don't even have the official car list, yet.

guys guys....we dont need the official car list....cus we all know its the GT-one!!no doubt about it!!:D

What if they decide not to put the Gt-one in!

Ok Gt One....

I'm not so fan of this race car...

At least I'd rather say that there is no real challenge interesting enough in GT so far... to use GT one...

I love endurance races but they are so borring with only 5 (crappy) AI racers... and the car is so dawn fast that there is no pleasure racing it against other available cars...

I would not write this if we could race against 10 other clever AI racers driving Peugeot 905, Audi and Bentley LeMans winner cars...

Give me a real and challenging 24H event on SPA or LeMans and I change my mind.

Otherwise you only have to drive this car alone on a track.. and they are lot of other cars more interresting to do that with.

uhm....I enjoy to drive my GT-one with or without "crappy" AI-drivers..what I dont enjoy is it does has a taste for front tires but it can be fixed easily...and also how can you know that GT4 has crappy AI...have you played it?....I admit in GT3 the AI sucks but I have had many interesting races with the GT-one and still have...especialy in the PRO allstar 1st race which is Laguna..and Im aware of that there is only 6cars on track and etc...but Im also aware of that if I wanna race 24hr Le Mans,1000km Spa or 12hr Sebring there is other much better games and mods out there.....and the only thing I said is that the GT-one is the best car in GT4 beacuse that is what the thread is all about isnt it?

I disliked the GT-One Race Car also. It was to fast for all but the F1 cars. The Road Car was nice, though. I used that one quite a bit in the Professional races, racing against the 787 Mazda, and the Nissan R390 LM.

Can't say I particually like the GT-One either, looks pretty ugly & drives badly compared to the 787b, I might have set it up badly but hey.

As for the best car in GT there should be no doubt in anyones mind, even now, of course it is the beast know as the Fiat Panda! :D

ok its enough!!!:( ...you guys hurt my fellings....

The GT One is the most capable car in the game aside from the F1 cars. Whatever I can do in the 787B I can beat in the GT One with similar HP. In fact, I can match 787B times in the GT One with significantly less HP. It is tricky to control compared to some other cars, but the effort is worth it.

If it's in, the 1988 Le Mans winning Jaguar XJR9LM if accurate will take some beating.

1) We'll know about 4 days after it comes out.

2) They're not "indy cars". They're Formula 1 cars.

3) I don't know.

4) It's spelled "what". Is it really worth looking like an idiot to save one keystroke?

Okay, enough bashing on the Toyota GT-One. I know I talk about it in threads, but come on, now. I mean, yeah, so Toyota almost won Le Mans in 1999 and never took first place. An analogy is the Audi R8C back in 1999. It is a stylish race car even though it placed about... 33rd, maybe 38th back in 1999. Personally, when I raced the Toyota GT-One in the IA Final Test, I fell in love with the power of the car as well as how it doesn't slide out very easily. And to go 200, even 240 mph (highest speed I've ever done was 260 with the road car), and it's a real race car. So is the Nissan R390 GT1, and even that car didn't win. The R391 LMP car just screams FAST, but again, that didn't win. The only Japanese car to win Le Mans outright so far is the Mazda 787B. Its only weakness is that if (and I know it was old technology)... but if it had one more gear, it would be hellaciously fast.

Often times, I heard that even thought the Le Mans race cars can be as powerful or even outclass Formula One race cars. But for the most part, F1 cars and sportscars kick a$$ respectively. I'm more of a sportscar person, but I respect the guts of F1 racers to win. If I had to label a car a sportscar as one I don't really like, it's the Lister Storm. Oh, another pick would be the Lotus Esprit Race Car. I don't know, I tend to think the Esprit is a poor man's Lamborghini. Just never really been a fan. But of course, we are all human, and to hate on someone because of a certain car that one person doesn't like is almost always pointless. I think Gran Turismo doesn't have all economy cars, instead, there are high-performing machines from the Subaru 360 all the way up to... dare I say... the Toyota GT-One. The game will truly exceed 500 cars, so that means more than 500 cars that one person can come around and calling one such car their favorite.

The best car in GT4 will be the one that a person can see themselves in, have great performance to boot, and just truly call it "MY CAR." Racing all the different make-focused cars (for example, the TVR Tuscan Cup), you'll find more favorites with tuning. Like I said in one thread, "even though most Lancias are ugly, the Delta S4 had impressive handling on the road. I could throw it around Seattle Circuit II (why they call it "(some circuit) II?" Just call it "(some circuit) Reverse," or "Reverse (some circuit)"). Well, make your favorites, but they will change in time. Go for it.

Well, I never bashed the GT-One Race Car. All I said was it was too fast for me to use against the other cars. I can't have fun if I beat the hell out of the rest of the cars. I love playing the last S-License test over and over again, though. So far, my best time is 1:26:707, so that should prove I love the car. For me, that Road Car version is it, for racing against the AIs.

Japan - 3000GT
USA - something big
Europe - some V12

Mission "found out whats going to be the best cars in gt4" : DONE

The best cars in GT4 will be found with a TVR badge on them, they always have, GT1 had the Cerbera and the Cerbera LM, GT2 added to thoes with the Tuscan speed 6 and the Speed 12, and GT3 kept the Tuscan which is still a kick ass car and updated to the Cerbera Speed 12 which I think is a great car, more than a handfull for most, but if you can set it up right AND drive it right, you'll get some great times with it.

I have many candidates. I would like to race the coolest supercars and race cars. Why them? Obviously, I am a performance person. When I can't be into performance, supercars. You all are going to get the McLaren F1. You all will get (more) JGTC cars, as well as for the first time ever, LMP race cars. If PD gets Porsche and the Porsche 917, that will be a powerful machine. "stock," it has enough HP to whip the Toyota Tacoma Pikes Peak and the Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak.

I think GT4 is already a beautiful-looking game. Almost any car that looks cool in real life will be even more impressive in GT4. Playing Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3, I have a small request. It would be cool if someone made an RX-8 LM Car (not the GT Concept machine with the 787B livery, but a generic paintscheme, but have the car modelled like "Past 12 O'Clock Cinderella." While I don't want a TXR3 rip for GT4, the car has carbon fiber on the hood, the car roof, the trunk lid, and the rear wing. The side graphics can be based on the Grand-Am Cup car, or based on another nice-looking GT car. But the thing that makes it an LM-style car is the two headlights at the front, and the four different lights under them. Play the game to know how this car looks, then imagine it with a specialized paintscheme. If you can tune a Mazda RX-8 to look like the "Past 12 O'Clock Cinderella" RX-8, then that would be a cool one-off.
