Let's pretend for a second that WW3 has started, sometime in the next 50 years. There are no allies, every country for themselves. There are also no tanks, military jets, helicopters, Hummers, etc. Basically no military land or air vehicles exist. No WMD's either. All of this has been done away with due to a previous worldwide oil crisis. The Navy is still around because we still need ships to travel the seas. All combustible engine cars have been scrapped for resources, and everyone drives Leafs, from the garbage man to the president.
You have been tasked by your government to choose two vehicles made by your respective country at some point in history (they must be in GT5). These vehicles will be used as the assault force against the opposing countries. One vehicle must be a Support vehicle, good on road and off, and relatively tough. The 2nd must be an Assault vehicle, built for speed; to be used for Covert Ops and escorting VIPs. Once a decision is made, blueprints for both cars will be pulled from the archives to be be mass produced, and then fitted with machine guns, missiles, land mines, etc.
The following countries have more than two cars in GT5, and can participate:
Japan
U.S.A.
Great Britain (U.K.)
Germany
France
Italy
Australia
Canada
Sweden
If you don't reside in any of the countries above, you can choose the country closest to you.
List what country you're from, and your choice of support and assault vehicles. Try to give a description of what you picked and why. Let's use road cars only, tuner and concept cars are OK.
I thought this would be interesting to see what USA could come up with vs. the U.K., Germany vs. Italy, etc. If I left anything out or if you think any of the rules should change, let me know.
