pm you on booked trade
does anyone think there should be an x1 championship race

I have a feeling they won't add this because it isn't as "accessible" but it would be quite a challenge I am sure.

This. Maybe perhaps PD will make it like the Ferrari F1 Challenge in the Seasonal Races. It can have 4-10 races, each having 10 laps or more, depending on which track is chosen. Completing the championship version can net you a lot of XP and Credits, even if you end up at 3rd place overall -- no lower than that, though -- to like around 6,250,000 Credits & 1 million XP or more/less for 1st place overall (varies from laps, races, etc). Independent completion will net you a small amount of XP & Credits, like around 350k Cr & 30-50k XP or more/less per race.

I would appreciate it, if noone will make me drive that "car" ever again. And I know, nobody can actually make me, but I would feel obliged, if they added a race for it.

That thing has nothing to do with driving.

I think it would be a good idea. Apart from grinding, the X1 is useless as of right now.

I'd go for that, I haven't tried it with my DFGT yet.

they should do a championship with, 10 laps of the complex string, 20 laps of apricot hill, 30 laps of seattle, 20 laps of special stage R11 and maybe 10 laps of the one and only NURBURGRING

lol

You forgot about the Autumn Mini Ring. That would be fun!!!!!

anyone have any other views about this

Have you tried racing the X2010 against others? It's ridiculous, and another reason why they would never work in the real world, they're far too fast to actually race without having catostrophic accidents every 100 yards.

to be honest a very rarely spin out my x1, 0 traction too

What does that have to do with racing them? I meant thanks to the extreme cornering speed, late braking and sharp changes of direction actually racing X2010's against each other is ridiculously stupid.

its basically a one make race, thats all, so i dont see the problem, considering the x1 has superb handling, braking, top speed etc, it would be worth putting it to the test on some really small, long and seriously winedy tracks

i think its a cracking idea! i mean this is like the best car in the whole game and their isnt a challenge for it?! i think that we might see one in the one of the future updates!
altough i think they should 'dumb' it down for the chaps who are using the DS3! its crazy hard to drive that thing quickly and not crash...!

Sounds entertaining. I think it should be a seasonal event, on the "imaginary" courses like High Speed Ring, Deep Forest, etc.

i think it would be a smashing idea anyway, i know people have different views on it but like someone said on this thread they could slightly tone the x1's down a bit

I've only done a couple of arcade races with them, they're really not that much fun. If you go partly off-track then the pack are loooong gone!

Have you raced it?

I've had multiple races between X1's without so much as a bump. The speed can certainly make for some scary crashes, but a good driver can handle the X1.

Bah, the real car simulator... the X1 is like the rocket-car in TOCA... nice, funny, but totally ridiculous

I would completely be For this, but since you can actually adjust your downforce(unlike the AI) you would need AI that adapt.

For example, on a track like La Sarthe, you can easily put the downforce to 50/50, and already you have the massive advantage of a top speed of 480+ km/h. The AI X2010 only have a top speed of 440km/h due to downforce and gearing being fixed at a certian setting, meaning that you will almost Always have an advantage over the others.:indiff:
