Is the new X1 in the DLC any different than the old X1 carbon and if I buy the DLC does that mean the new cars will be in my garage or they will be in the dealership and I'll still have to buy them even after buying the DLC?

Yes its an updated model and has less drag therefore a higher top speed and better acceleration.

It has a different canopy and can go 10 mph faster. As for the dlc cars, those that pre ordered, when putting the code in the store, the cars where sent straight to car delivery/gift so you didn't have to buy them in game.

If you pay real world cash for the DLC would you then expect to pay GT credits for them? I think not. I can't help you with the X question though.
