The picture on the Gran Turismo website had an open top. There is no such thing as an open top X2010, OP. It would be harmful to the driver, since in the description of the car pre-release it said the cockpit was pressurized (like a fighter jet, I believe was the terminology used) so the driver could survive the G forces.

As said here. It does not exist in real life, hence the X2010 Fantasy label. If the car existed, then it would be something different.

The roof opens to let the driver get in and then it closes so he can drive it.

I have no idea what the point of this thread is then. You can obviously see the canopy still on. I guess common sense is not the OP's strong suit.

The driver doesn't live in the car. He has to enter somehow. It just isn't open during use.

That is the window (top) opening for the driver to get in, which then lowers and closes, so the top is now back on. This is not a feature that is available in the game. The top is still on there, just open for the driver to enter. Much like a fighter jet. It is the X2010 that is pictured. It should have arrived as a ticket. Again, the open top is only for the driver to get in, and is not available as a feature of the game. It will always stay down.
