It wasn't that easy to get out there, took me now around 1 freakin' hr. You have to get the perfect angle, else you get "sucked" onto the grass.
And that's not a word play, it's really very strange. :scared:

Ohh and I should have buyed something useless for 1 mil before, had already 20mil, so it's lost in the nirvana.
But I've got now a 2nd prototype & the gun metal colored X2010, woohoo. :dunce:

I golded Monza and Nürburgring today. After this I made like 10 laps on practice mode on suzuka, my best was 1.04.7XX. Then I tried the challenge for some 15 minutes. My best was 2.12.5xx, first lap was 1.07.1xx, or something like that, but still too high. I know I will get gold with more practice, but can anyone give me time sectors that are good to get gold? Is very hard to tell from the replays.

Update: Tried for 50 minutes and got silver with 2.11.3xx, first lap was 1.06.2xx, still with room to improve, as I made some mistakes here and there. I won the red bull in black, so I guess I'll buy another one to have a nicer color.

I am glad you could make it. It's not easy, but it works with the right angle. Just let go of the acceleration button once you are inside that little barricade and the car will roll backwards through it. You won't get sucked onto the grass this way.

I also found a glitch to finish monza in gold, but that glitch is a lot harder and I don't wanna ruin the fun for all the poeple who are trying this the normal way. Well, on the other hand I received lots of emails from people calling me safesaver, lol.

Are you serious about the free car? If yes, then I will check through your list and let you know. However I've got all cars already and I am not after any specific car at the moment. Well, thanks for the offer anyway 👍

I've done Monza in a hour, Nurburgring in around 2-3 hours and Susuka in some 3-4 hours. I recommend taking a break after a hour and not playing any other car during the break. Just watch the replays, relax, and keep your mind focused. Also if your really tired then don't play.

Continual playing rather hurts my thumbs so badly than being distracted from the TT for me, which makes me don't wanna seize hold of the pad in a tad while. :lol:

I've done it now on all 3 accounts & with practice it's done with the first tries. My first time was close (2:06,xxx) & my fastest till now was a 1:43,xxx. :)

Well, I didn't record a video yet so I can't post a link. Also as I said already, it's very hard to do. I know you will probably say those are all cheap excuses and I am a pathetic liar :lol: That is why I promise you that I will record a video today at the latest tomorrow and upload it on youtube ;)

After 2 hours I'm one second faster, now at 2.10.378. Fastest first lap was 1.05.6XX, but I wasnt able to make a good second lap. Hopefuly I finish this tomorrow. Suzuka is surely the hardest.

Tried again for two hours, now my best is 2:10.244, with first lap at 1:05.8XX, and second at 1:04.4XX. Best first lap was 1:05.5XX, but I got nervouse and excited, so the second lap was terrible, at 1:05.2XX. My best second lap was 1:04.1XX, after a first lap of 1:06.4XX.

I can get gold times, but it is hard for me to be relaxed on a second lap that comes after a good first lap.

It could be any time now, just keep at it and don't give up.

Even when you think your Lap 1 isn't gold-capable, just finish Lap 2 as well.
Do it until you get over the nervousness, until you feel sorta numb.

That was my problem on the Nurburgring for ages, could always put in a good 1st lap then I would get all jittery and stuff it up on the 2nd. I thought pausing after lap 1 would be a good idea, turned out to be the worst thing you can do as you lose the edge you had on the 1st lap. For me anyway, turned out to be much better doing the challenge while smoking cigarette's and not pausing after lap 1, vile habit I know but kept me calm. 👍

Just keep trying. You will get it eventually :)

Look forward to seeing your replay. You're times are on the right pace for gold dont give up. Even if you do a first lap of 1.05.8xx still push hard the second lap. Get use to doing the 2nd lap at full speed even tho your first lap may be off the gold pace.

I found I was consistently getting 1.05.5xx first lap but messing up the second. So when I went round the first lap in a time of 1.05.7xx I thought "oh this isn't as quick, a good 200th/sec off my usual pace" but I had the attitude of "oh well, see how the second lap goes" I was more relaxed in a way and ended up doing a 1.04.2xx second lap to get gold.

When you start consistently getting sub 1.05.5xx 1st lap you know you're very close to nailing it. It then changes from being in unknown territory to "I've been here before at this pace" you won't be as nervous. :-) Goodluck.

If anyone has any ways to fix this problem it would be a service to all.

Turn everything off (especially TCS!), ABS to 1 & SRF on (if it's available).
Active steering could maybe be a help.

Practice, be fast, drift & cut the corners. And use a straight line for more traction. Then you'll get it. :D:tup:
 
The last two days I wasn't able to try so much time, but last night I did 2:10.146. I'm getting closer, but still might take some time to get gold. Thanks for advices, they help a lot!

Update: Finally! I did it!
First lap: 1:05.234
Second lap: 1:04.554
I did the second lap just fast enough to get gold, but it can de done faster. The total time was 2:09.788, and it gave me, finally, the platinum throphy!
