I notice the other day when my Bob racing my x2010 on the Indy 500 track making left turns over and over again. I notice that the tire wear is the front left tire and the rear right tire.

Is this physic wrong? How did they redefine the physics on this car and make the tire wear complete opposite?

I believe that the physics are correct. I forgot the exact issue but the right rears tend to wear quicker on the ovals.

Yes, the physics are correct. As you go around a left hand corner, especially at high speeds, that then shifts the weight to the right of the car, forcing more pressure on the back right tyre. Since you also have forward momentum, this will shift mainly to the rear, just think of it as a very small drift movement but without losing traction.

That explains the wear on the right rear, but not the left front.

That explains the wear on the right rear, but not the left front.

The left front is from the typical weight shifting onto the tire when the car turns. When making turns, the lead corner and the trailing corner on the opposite side will experience wear. If you were on an oval going clockwise (all right turns), the exact opposite would happen, where the right front and the left rear would have the most wear.

At which point during the turn does the weight shift lead to excess wear on the front left?

When you turn into the corner as was mentioned. The severity of how much the tire receives wear depends on the sharpness and the degree of banking on the corner (plus the tire type, car and suspension settings).

I honestly havnt noticed that much of a difference between the front tyres on indy. The rear right yes, other hardly change, and i use racing softs. Im guessing the front left is caused by some other factor than downforce obviously .... smaller turning line, drag ... who knows.

This might make some explaination for one car, but not for others. Because if I use the minnota '88, they wear differently.

X2010 seems to be the worst for the type of wear the OP described.
