Too bad you couldn't save the replay, that would have been an interesting one to see for sure! Awesome pic though. Interesting that you still got tire wear in the air, Kaz may need to look into the physics there. Is your bob's name C. Kent by any chance :)

Part of me was hoping to be able to save the replay so I could see what happened. But, the other part was saying, "no way are you sifting thru 24 hours of video to find the spot where it took off".

C.Kent...good one. 👍

This is a stupid glitch that can be easily reproduced in A-spec.

Basically what has happened is that your driver was either pushed into the pits or was avoiding someone and accidentally entered the pits. Thing is the X1 was going way too fast and blew right threw the pits. Welcome to the glitch, your car is now on auto pilot- will blow through your tires and gas and hold you at 49mph for the rest of the race.

Sucks it happened in a 24hr race but who cares, you were on vacation enjoying yourself I could think of 101 far worst things that could have happened to you.

Huh, OK. Hadn't seen any "flying" before.

It does suck and I have been enjoying myself. Any chance being stuck at the airport due to delays is one of those 101 worst things that could happen? Hope this doesn't last too long. At least teh interwebz is free here. :)

Hey, Mark Webber must be driving. :D

Sorry, it's not funny.

Oh wait, yes it is. :D

I was thinking the same thing...You don't think Chris Horner would put Ole Webber in a car like that do you? LOL.

If you look at the lap count (Having done the Le Mans 12+ times, my average was around 500 laps) and how fast the X1 is flying, you can tell that this started right before the end of the race and has done 2 laps in flymode. Seems that it started literally right on the finish line.

Well we all knew the X2010 would fly just not lilterally.

Holy Sh-!

I didn't quite catch that. What does Red Bull give you?

If you're havin' GT5 problems I feel bad for you, son
I got 99 problems but a glitch ain't one

So, I'm on vacation and have been grinding out the B-Spec back home via Slingbox. Please excuse the crappy screencap. I set my crew off in the 24 Hour race at Le Mans yesterday. This morning (my last day of vacation) I woke up to my X2010 flying around the Circuit de la Sarthe..LITERALLY!

I mashed buttons for a few minutes but got no response from the game. :ouch: I waited for the car to circulate the track. He did. And, entered the pit. Unfortunately, he cruised right on thru and re-entered the track without taking on fuel, tires or doing a driver change. Or, as I had really hoped, would have ended the race!

At times you could see cones in the air, but, I never saw any other cars on the track map while waiting to get back around. And, since this is only the second time I've done the race, I'm not sure when the flying started. I know they did 497 laps. But, I don't know how many they would have typically done in the X2010.

Since the buttons didn't work, I had to restart the game and lost 24 hours .... @#$%! I did a quick search of the forum/youtube. But, I couldn't find anyone else who ran into this problem. Sucks to be me.

Believe it or not i had exactly the same problem in GT2 in my Escudo on the Laguna 200 Mile race. I can remember how but I managed to get back on track.

I haven't seen this done on this track, but it's NOT easily reproduced on Tsukuba, where I have seen it done.

You mean it's not normal to fly in a car?

There goes my dream of flying round the countryside in a Kubelwagen.

I feel your pain. I lost 3 races total in my B Spec journey. Two of them were the 9hr race and one was a 24hr Le Mans at the 17 hour mark. Thank god I'm done with that.

Sort of looks like a screenshot from Top Gun :) 👍
