You should be able to. I don't see why you couldn't. IMO, you're better off just going with an eithernet cable. Less likely to lag and have interference issues, but thats just the way I see it. I bought a 50 foot cable that I run from my modem and PC upstairs to my bedroom in the "lower level" of our split-level home, and it works pretty well. For just a $30 setup, I can't complain...

Well, I can't really link you since this isn't "set in stone", but they definitely believe "even if the customer is wrong, they're still right". I'd call them up or ask them when you're in one of their stores.

Then again, you have a 50-foot cord running through your home. That's why many people prefer Wi-Fi so they don't have to rearrange anything if you want to move the console, etc.

Anyway, I could do a cable but the nly way would to have this long blue cable down the hall that everyone uses. So, WiFi would be better. I don't know if I'd use that much of the online features anyway.

I wouldn't be so sure on that. I just quickly tried the one used on our Desktop PC, and it doesn't recognise it at all. I did a test, and it says the Wireless Adaptor is "disconnected", when clearly it's plugged into its socket.

It would make sense why they sell their own one. It's Microsoft after all...


Edit: Unless there's a way to get it working that I don't know about...

lol I was gonna get some random make wireless adapter too but I wasnt sure if it would work. I was sure that it should work in theory but seeing as it is a microsoft product.....

My wireless adapter works well I do get slowdown on pro evo 6 though when it says my friends have just signed in.

buying only one game and it has to be a racing one so should I go for PGR3 or TD : U ?

I recomend PGR3 and basically Gold membership allows you to play games online where Silver you can not.

Gold is a musthave, as for a racing game, personally I think both games aren't too great. If I were you I'd wait for Forza Motorsport 2, should be released within the next three months. Until then buy a good shooter like COD3,RB Six Vegas, Gears of War sth like this. If I had to buy a racing game now, honestly, I'd buy Nfs MW instead, you get a BMW and a challenging and fun game structure. PGr3 is great online, but the single player mode bored me to death - no tuning, just those super sports car ( no real daily drivers ), TDU, oh well, you might like that game, I don't, but that's just me... for me that game kinda lacks of a soul, hard to explain.... If I had to buy a racing game now, I'd go for Import Tuner challenge, although I might add that not many would agree with me here

Well I didn't say that TDU is not as great or maybe even better online than PGR, what I said is, that imo the single player of PGR is not that challenging....

OK I got my Xbox and I already created an Xbox Live account last week through the web, then I discovered today that I can't get my 30 day gold free if I created it on the web and I have to creat a new from teh Xbox its self , I've added some microsoft points to the accoutn which was created from the web , and started downloading the style pack fo PGR3 (which has the M6 and M3) now would I be able to play with style pack with the other account that has live but has no microsoft points?

OK I'm trying to download some demos...ect but after 10 mins of leaving the console to download I would see my account no logged in 2 Xbox live , does this stop teh download ? if it does is there a way around it ?

Hmm, strange. So, does it just log you out for no reason? Does it do this any other time?

teh 10 mins thing is not very acurate but when I leave for a while and come back to check the progress I see my slef logged out , could it have anything to do with the fact that I turn off teh controller before I leave?

It can't be that. If this has always been happening, I'm guessing it's probably XBL. It's probably not as reliable in Saudi Arabia as it is in, say, the US. If this has just popped up, then I dunno.

As for your problem. I have no clue. My Xbox360 has been running for the last 8 hours on wireless and hasn't logged out.

I was typing that in a hurry as I have a final tommorow and didn't finish studying at the time .

What usually do when downloading is leave the Xbox on the main dashboard , where you can go into the market place and change through the big menus (Xbox Live ,Media , Games ...ect) , what I tried to do now is leave the Xbox on the active dowloads screen and it kept downloading .

I wasn't trying to give you a hard time. It's a pet peeve of mine when people type teh instead of the. I've actually been hearing people say it now.

I've never had any problems with leaving it on a certain window. Sounds like a problem with your internet or XBL. Maybe your router?
