Hey I dont know if this is a repost or not(my search is not working) but how do you connect a Xbox 360 controller to your pc?

And does it have to be the wired one? or can I get the Wireless one to work?

Let me know...

thanks in advance:tup:

Yes, you can connect it to your PC. As far as I know, only the Wired one works, but they are apparently working on a Wireless one. You have to download a driver from here for it to work.

I can't say too much myself on how it performs like as I've only just done it myself.

Edit: It works absolutely fine. I was just playing it with GTA SA and configured the controls. Only the D-Pad and the trigger buttons didn't work, but that may be different for newer games.

They actually make a version specifically for computers. Saw one in Best Buy a while back. Or is it just a normal wired controller in a different box? Either way, I believe it would include the necessary drivers that would enable all buttons to be usable.

The computer version just comes with a CD, im sure you can find these drivers somewhere online.

hmm thanks for the replies:tup: :)

so you can't use all of the buttons on the 360 controller?
Or does it matter on which game your playing?

Reason im asking is because I just bought Fifa 07 and I want to use a controller im more used to.
