Welcome to Xiamoto GT6 Tunes!

First of all thank you for taking the time to visit my Garage! OK, I'll come clean right off the bat here.....understand that I am not a Tuner. But I love to drive cars where you can experience the sensation of rotating a car in GT6 using throttle and brakes...even if it makes the car slower or more difficult to drive.

"I just don't like to turn the steering wheel to make a car rotate."

With that being said, I plan to post a few of my yet to be created tunes in this space that do exactly that. To create cars that steer with the pedals. So thank you again for stopping by and I hope to learn from all of you to bring some value to my garage. Oh, and by the way....what the heck does Xiamoto mean and how do you pronounce it? ....... well ..... I don't know yet how to explain how it's pronounced ..... I made that name up and ...well....loosely translated some might say it means...."motorsports dynasty." More on that later!​

GT6 B-SPEC NURBURGRING NORDSCHLIEFE LEADERBOARDS - (events closed)​

I decided to post this Thread as an attempt to provide for a central location for interested GTP Members to compare B-Spec Race results within the Super-24-Minutes of Nurburgring Event. Feel free to use any of what I have created here to post a different, separate event at a different track in this Forum. This specific Event will rely on the "honor system" for all submissions and entrants honesty in their compliance with the Global, Event and Class Rules I have created. Future Events could certainly use a formal verification process if desired. This is a work in progress idea, so feel free to recommend additional events/classes/rules for this specific Event. EVENT RESTRICTIONS

1. LIMITED TO: GT6, Super, 24-minutes of Nurburgring Challenge
2. ALLOWED: Any AI car lineup

CAR RESTRICTIONS

1. ALLOWED - use of any car

TUNING RESTRICTIONS

1. MUST use default suspension setting
2. MUST use default brake setting
3. MUST use default differential gear setting
4. MUST use default ballast position
5. MUST use default transmission
6. MUST use default transmission gearing setting
7. MUST use default aero settings
8. MUST use default clutch & flywheel, driveshaft
9. MUST use ballast position set to "0"
10. ALLOWED - adjustment of transmission max speed setting (if default transmission allows for)
11. ALLOWED - addition of ballast
12. ALLOWED - power limiter adjustment

UPGRADE PARTS RESTRICTIONS

1. ALLOWED - use of any tire compound
2. ALLOWED - body, hood and window weight reduction
3. ALLOWED - computer, exhaust, manifold, catalytic, intake, turbo upgrades
4. ALLOWED - stage 1,2,3 engine tuning upgrade
5. ALLOWED - use of all parts available in "Custom Parts" store
6. ALLOWED - oil change
7. ALLOWED - body and parts painting
8. ALLOWED - improve body rigidity
   
9. NOT ALLOWED - use of nitrous

DRIVER AID RESTRICTIONS

1. MUST have active steering set to "Off"
2. MUST have traction control set to "0"
3. MUST have active stability management (ASM) set to "Off"
4. MUST have ABS set to "0"
5. MUST have skid recovery force set to "Off"
6. ALLOWED - All other aids except 1-5 above

DRIVER INPUT RESTRICTIONS

1. NOT ALLOWED - use of all "REAL TIME COMMANDS" (R1)
2. NOT ALLOWED - use of "CHANGE PACE" COMMAND
3. NOT ALLOWED - manually changing tire compound during a pit stop
4. NOT ALLOWED - fuel level adjustment during a pit stop
5. NOT ALLOWED - use of "PIT" or "NO PIT" command

Special note to FITT Miata Tuning Challenge Testers: First of all thank you for taking the time to test my car build. You Testers will be a very important and appreciated part of my journey to begin to understand the nuances of GT6 tuning, so again thank you. Understand that I am not a Tuner. This is the first tune I have ever even attempted from the ground up and my goal was to create handling characteristics that fit my style of driving, period. I love to rotate a car using throttle and brakes...even if it makes the car slower or more difficult to drive. I just don't like to rotate a steering wheel to make a car rotate. I probably have made this tune a bit "safe" just so I can hopefully reduce Tester frustration with it that might result in them giving up on it too soon. In fact, I tuned this car using an old Logitech GT Pro steering wheel set to 200 degree rotation. That might result in an epic fail for my Entry right there.....LOL. However, for me the real goal is that I am VERY interested to receive feedback from experienced Testers that use a 900 degree wheel. With more track time I will be able to pilot this car at the Silverstone GP 3.66 in the 205's. I currently am lapping quite a few times in the 206's with one hot lap of 2:06.009 at the time of this publish. I understand my personal lap times are irrelevant to the success of the car when in Testers hands. Feel free to message me with any questions or comments! Thanks, you made my day Pichon . The car is a handful but my DAD LOVED to watch me drive into corners with the back a$$ end hanging out, then full 4 wheel power slide at corner apex and exit. This car does all that and I know he would be proud .
