Yahoo... 20 Mill... how to spend??

At last I have reached the 20 Million credit limit, without the use of elastic bands.

No fanfare, just a grumpy little notice that said something like "you can't have more than 20 million credits"....

I asked about whether to go for it in an earlier thread, and decided to as the seasonal races started to pay out reasonable cash again.

So.... how to spend EXACTLY 20 mill (might as well get the penniless trophy!!) ? I have 2 red bull things, so don't want another. I have no interest in the 20 mill old exotics.... we're talking pixels on a screen here, not collector's cars!!

I want to spend 1M on rebuilding my beloved Bentley, 4M on a Peugeot 908, so I have 15M left.... any ideas?
 
I was going to say Ferrari 330 P4 but I guess you don't want the gorgeous classics. You seem to be into LMPs / Group C so I guess you could hit up the Mazda 787B. I'd get all of the RM's if you don't have them already. I bought an Enzo and slapped an aero kit on it and I love it, same with the McLaren F1 (if you do it right, it'll look just like the F1 LM).
 
I've used the Ferrari in the "S" license. Yes it's nice, and classic, but I didn't think it was worth 20m. Your other suggestions are nice, but they all end in awkward numbers....!
There's an R89C (?) and a Toyota One (hard to believe, as it was in there last week too!) in my UCD at the minute.... but they cost silly numbers that end in 68 or something.... I can't buy them or I'll lose the "penniless trophy"!!!!
 
Why do you care about the penniless trophy? Just get fun cars and drive them.

Good point. I thought I might kill two birds with one stone... and it was meant to be a bit of a fun maths exercise!:)

Yes, you can.... the 24 hour B spec, I believe.... I can't see me getting ownership of the PS3 for that long! Kids. It's only 2.9 mill today in the UCD... bargain!
 
I bought every Super GT car, a mazda 787b and some other things.. just to get it out of the way lol.. though I would say don't even spend it all... I got the penniless trophy but if I buy the Ferrari 330 P4 Race Car '67 later I will have gotten it eventually anyways.. and then when I had 0 credits a lot of nice cars including a very low mileage 2J that I actually need passed me by, as well as some other cars with rare paint chips that I'm collecting.. so I guess it depends on what you want to be collecting.
 
My recent wad of Cash was spent on Multiple Peugeot 908's, different tunes, different tracks, etc. I then bought up the rest of the Super GT's. Then all the NASCAR's. Then all of the DTM cars i can get my hands on. Thank goodness for 20mil+ from all of my Bobs :)
 
Hope you didn't spend the 20million yet. Here's 3 birds in 1 stone. If not, here's how you do it.

- Saved your Data
1. Buy that 20 million car or cars to nothing left on credit.

2. BAMMM :) you get that Penniless Trophy you been wanting.

- Upload your Trophies to PSN
- Restore your Data.

3. BAMMM! you still have 20million (until you update) lol

the only way to get Penniless trophy without some works on math is to buy 20mil exotic classics.but since u dont want that,lets bring out our calculator :):)

try 787B instead of 908,its worth the extra million,in my opinion :) then go to UCD a lot and look for something rare (obviously not Miatas,efinis etc,so u need to refresh a lot i think LOL).anyway,congrats and have fun man 👍
 
I got the penniless trophy by buying a few high dollar cars, leaving me with a few thousand and some odd dollars. Then finding a car that ended in the same number as my account. For instance if I had 32,786 I found a car that ended in 86, leaving me with a number ending in 00. A few upgrades and an oil change or 2 and viola. Penniless.
 
Go mental in the UCD, there is many a hidden gem to be had.
 
just back up your save
buy a 20 mill car
you get the tropphy..
then use your back up n there you go , you have the trophy & your money , now spend the 20mill however you want
 
I just buy a load of random cars that are either fast or have a nice colour!
