Hi guys (and gals, hopefully..),

here are some Porsche videos I found interesting. The first one is by Gilles Nantet, a French rally legend. Please do watch the whole video, you really can tell when he gets going too fast. The video also gives a good impression of the driving technique required with a 911. The car is 964 911 Turbo.

The second one gives one answer to the ever looming question, which is faster, a superbike or a supercar. The contenders are a 996 911 GT3 and a Yamaha R1.

Just wanted to confirm what Baranoid said about
a) weight removal
b) brake upgrade + brake balance controller

That makes a huge difference to the Yellowbird.

I've restarted the game from zero, trying to see how far I can get without buying a single car. That means that I have to use the Yellowbird to win the Supercar series in the professional hall. With the changes to the weight and the brake upgrade (plus bolting on more power to make it over 500PS) the Bird flew along nicely. You've just got to get into the groove of braking early, and never being tempted into braking late - because you'll end up in the kitty litter every time!

i think that's the most important thing to do with the yellowbird, because otherwise you won't get where you want......
