YLOD PS3 - GT5 Data Lost!!

I have suffered the infamous YLOD on my old PS3 and have tried reflow after reflow to get my GT5 data off it to no avail. I had a shed load of cars that have gone down the swanny and am completely miserable about it! Therefore, Im coming cap in hand on these lovely forums for any cars you would like to give to me pro-bono. Anything will do, i just want my 300+ garage back as i start out on Level 1 again.
 
Seriously, with current seasonals you can be millionaire in 15 minutes.....

And you don't have a SAVEGAME backup on your USB?

How many times do we have to tell you guys, always make a backup!

Like Outeke says, just do the seasonal events and you could buy your cars back in a few days.

Ive bought the DLC pack as a start but dont the seasonal events require cars to participate or have the rules changed? I intend to do the trusty old kart challenge first as that gives a boost before i buy my first car.

How many times do we have to tell you guys, always make a backup!

I do a back up evry day and now my ps3 also Ylod but just wating a new ps3 to keep roking on :)

I can't give any car or ticket because I'm full booked until the end of the year.
I can't give also any horns of MC's the coming days due planned deals.

At the marketplace we trade regularly, so many people can't help instantly as they wish.

And the guys you could help you, feel free and help this guy but do not complain about the ones who could not.

Edit: On another note, you should easily be able to beat the new time trial and get a GTR. Are there any other cars you really need?

I've said it a million times, you should always back up. Its a simple and cheap thing to do to avoid the mess your in now. Hope a lesson was learned. Having said this, go ahead and add cargorat323 and I'll send you what you need. Just do yourself a favor this time and BACKUP YOU GAME SAVE.

Well, as others have pointed out a thumbdrive can be your best friend. :) I have an old memory card from my last cell phone with a USB adaptor that I use. I further back that up by transferring the files from it to my computer for long term storage. As far as cars I'm a little booked up on sends right now but if you want to send a FR to both AFTAC_99104 and Disrupptster maybe I can help in a different way. I have several cars set to share mode on the AFTAC account that you can use plus I am willing to run your B-Spec driver(s) on the Disrupptster account in order to help get your B-Spec rating back up (and make you some moeny in the process).

So feel free to send me a FR if I can be of any help.

Trick is you can't run your A-Spec races at the same time. But I do know what you mean though. I use one of my kid's account to run all 6 if my guys at once using the widget.

I start it up using my kid's account and leave it running when I go to bed. Runs about 21 to 22 races in 8 hours and nets me about 3.8 million credits (after 200% login bonus). Since I'm running my guys anyhow figured I would offer to run the OP's guys at the same time to help him out if he's interested.

Going to try to get an old 40 gig or 60 gig PS3 sometime this week in order to let me run remote races round the clock.

Your only problem with what your saying stano666 is that any person can come on here and be a New Member and then ask for everything simply because they got a busted PS3.
How are we has members supposed to know if thats true.?
Now if you have a member thats been on here for some time then they get a busted PS3 then you will get people helping out.?
Becuase its more than likely they have helped the community in some way before they ended up with a busted PS3.
Looking at it from another view its like some one sat on a street with there hand out, How many dip into there pockets to give.?
Thats just the norm I guess.?

Not to accuse you but how hard did you try? My PS3 died last week with the YLOD and it took me 15 minutes with a hairdryer to get it working long enough to pull off some forgotten PSN login details and deactivate all the accounts on it.

Thats where backups come in! I suggest you buy a USB memory card first to backup this game data, in before you are asking stuff here on the forum. Im always friendly in giving stuff to people who are nice, but I do not like beggars, who think they can get free stuff for nothing, of because they have made a huge fault themselves!

Tried reflowing it twice but didnt work. Cant be bothered to do it again so just cut my losses. I didnt realise that the seasonals gave you soo much money! Already at level 22 and not even touched the main races yet. Thanks for the offers of free cars but i should be able to get by.
 
What is your PSN user name as 2 people have sent me FR's ?
