School did that for me. I had a crazy English teacher(I'm in 10th grade right now) who could be a prof. in English if he wanted to, but after being a prof. in theater or film or something, he decided to teach HS English... go figure...

29.) When you come back to GTP every 5-10 minutes you're awake.

30.. When you start talking and understanding more than 3 languages and in reality the only language you ever learned is english.:odd:
31.... when you start acting like a tough guy over the net, and if some one PM's you saying that he is going to KICK your HINY that's when you remember who you are..............

On this note, I had to dump my Internet cache last night, and it had almost 13,000 files in it. Like, woah.

32. When your Internet cache files take up the more space on your HD than anything else (including music).

Uh, that's why I have my computer clear the cache after each time I close the browser. I still have some temp. internet files, but I think I limited it to something like 10MB or so, if that much.

Well, I don't really mind the space that it takes up- I'd gladly swap that HD space for a faster-feeling connection. :) I had to clean it out last night, because my browser was acting up and thus I had to delete the preference files. (But not to worry, Sage is back to normal now!)

Please explain the difference.....my english teacher did a crap job of it..........stupid school

Affect is always used as a verb. It means influence. Effect can be used as a noun or a verb. When it is used as a noun it means result, and when it is used as a verb it means to bring out.

The woman driver affected the flow of traffic.
One effect of the traffic was a fight between two women on cellular phones.

ITS SO CLEAR NOW thanks mate

what r u a teacher or something

incase you were wondering i am not a 15 year old spud I just suck at english, top of class in science, maths and social studies....no im not braging.....hehe

Trust me. I'm in pain.

Although it wasn't only the mouse. Typing and ten keying played a part, too. But anyway, now I know what it feels like and it sucks.

This is no joke. When I am over a long period of time sitting in front of the computer surfing the internet, I get too tired. I almost cant do anything. And it is even worse when I stand up. I feel like doing nothing. Then the bad mood begins, I feel like I need to do something else, but I dont know what.

#?: When you are cooking soup and you neglected to hear the timer go off because you were writing a long message about setting up the suspension on a Pagani Zonda to avoid understeer.

#? +1: When you learn rudimentary Piano over the internet on your day off with a cleverly placed electric piano next to the computer.

#? +2: When your QWERTY keyboard has enough crap on it to raise a colony of cockroaches.

Nope, just reading some dictionary. It had a nice list of common word usage errors. You'd be surprised how many usage errors you make every day.

I could've said it, but I never bothered. They were on our vocab one week last semester. Just to recap:

affect - verb
effect - noun

Klos, not that I'm complaining, if anything, I'd be complimenting:
Were your examples ment to show women are not as good as men driving or talking on the phone? I completely understand for the phone part, mostly because they'd need one of those video-phones to get their message across apropriately.

Also, it does appear that men are more observant while driving than the opposite...:odd:

hmmm...
