Starting a rotary engine and revving it while it's still cold?! :ouch::banghead: Some people don't know how to treat engines..:grumpy::irked:

Both were driven before hand,
Mine was at normal operating temperature.
His was "warm" and it was raining.... otherwise there would have much more smoke had it started cold.

Do not fret Leonidea I have read what cold engine+revs do and refrain from "racing" the rotary until it says "Ok" by way of a normal Idle.

Sounds like you have an issue with your muffler or exhaust tips. I hear an odd vibration. Definately has a good grumble to it. :D I bet you turn heads in the UK with it don't you.

think theres a bracket loose or over tight somewhere, havnt checked it out, its only really noticeable when stationary or over bumps lol
ohh it turns heads :D its something different makes a change from the usual quiet dinky cars on the road :p

it also attracts the wrong attention which i could do without :grumpy: just sat there for a few mins some chavs farted by shouting uh something at it. as it from a moving car or im passing them i only hear half an insult...usually "Wan..." thats a popular one.

Ignore the young people's comments and glares, they do not understand the brilliance of your car. I'm sure real adult car enthusiasts are thrilled at seeing it across the poad in your neighborhood. :D And obviously I want a fly-by video as well.

i'll get on that ;) will find another quiet night to have a pootle in the forest :D might stick the camera mount on the roof for a lickle ride too!

That's not Rick's car, is it? Those are some humungo houses!

Whos Rick? Reventon?

Thats my car. Mid-muffler removed and replaced with straight pipe. Then stock resonator removed and replaced with a dynomax.

I really like the setup. It's almost G35-like. Sounds quiet and normal under normal circumstances and the video demonstrates what its like when i "get on it"

Great sound, though I have to admit, I started laughing when the car moved. Was not expecting that.

This was very funny

When it had no exhaust....

Sorry for double post, but I took two videos today.

I don't have a video of my own, but this one is very close to what mine sounds like.

Biggest difference being that mine has a muffler, so you can't really hear the turbo whistle.

Here's an in-car video from a short drive around Tumwater, WA. This is the first video I've shot since I installed the Vibrant header a couple months ago. Sorry about the excessive wind noise, and that the freeway bits are boring. The best part is the underpass at the I-5/US 101 interchange (2 minutes in) :sly:.
.

Well here are the new cherry bombs! Video doesn't do it much justice though, it's much louder in real life.

Excuse my lack of knowledge but what the heck are.... cherry bombs? :dunce:

To explain, they're pretty much street legal straight pipes that go in place of your mufflers.

Crappy in-car recording of the Nova made with my Sansa MP3 Player. You can hear the carb almost better than the engine, and the whole thing's pretty quiet, so turn your speakers up enough to hear it. Thrush Turbo muffler, otherwise stock.

The car in the video is his non-turbo car ;)

Lol, busted piston rod sounds sweet? LOL... my TT is like "*CLANK* *CLANK* *CLANK* *CLANK* *CLANK* *CLANK*" and hardly sounds "sweet", lol.

Exactly... ;)

It'd be nearly pointless to post a video of my neon's exhaust but I could always attempt to record the mustang's exhaust...
