The title is self explanatory: what have you done that seemingly noone else can do/has accomplished. Sure, some thing can be left unsaid, like Famine's legendary PD Cup win in a 'Teggy type R, but share some feats you accomplished.

My best is winning the Polyphony Digital Cup in the '67 Cobra on slicks.

Wining the PD cup in a Corba eh.

I managed to beat Famines setup for the Suzuki Escudo on the Complex ring and get a faster lap. It wasn't a whole lot faster and it wasn't going to challeng the top time at racing line, but still I enjoyed it.

Yes, your compendium, that's plain cool. :) Man, after a four month hiatus, it is good to be back! :D

My GT3 claim to fame would definately have to be beating a Nissan R390 on Hard in Arcade Mode with my Trueno SS. That took everything I had to beat him...

Ummm, I've got the 10th fastest lap around Apricot Hill in an RGT. Or at least did have. I'm sure it's been pushed down the list by now.

I ran the entire PD Cup in a Mustang Cobra R without ever touching 5th gear.

Hey, I thought it was marginally impressive.

Manny-tranny, neon?

AS for driving, I think that my ZZs in the PD cup was a pretty good one.

Or the Esprit V8 completely stock, right from the dealer. No oil change or tires change. Won the PD cup.

I haven't done anythin too special, maybe a few top 10 lap times but thats about it.

Well I havent done anything anyone else hasn't done but the Best thing i ever did in GT3 was beating the Impreza rally car in the hardest race at SSR5 wet, in a full mod alto works... On sport tiers. :trouble:

I might have a record for most miles in one month (in real life), I started playing back in mid January, and I now have over 5500 miles... (only two enduros completed, too.)

About half my garage has 0 miles.
I have an ITR drift car. No handbrake required.
Is that impressive or stupid?

i got all 181 available cars in pal gt3, tuned to the max, in alphabetical order. including both vauxhalls and opels. no cheat devices used. now is that impressive or just plain sad? :sly:

i had a gt2 memory card where someone had setup an ae92 trueno in some stupid way. you used to drive it into a corner like a rwd car and it would just hang the arse out, it couldn't relaly hold it though. can i get those itr settings off you evo?

I havent got many feats, maybe finisheing up near the pointy end of Division 1 in WRS.

I never knew the site existed, but I may as well say..

..Thank You!! You seem to look at GT3 the same way as me.. I read the whole thing last night, I'm actually redoing GT3 right now and I'm trying to make the races as challenging as possible..thanks :dopey:

i guess the only thing even remotely impressive i've done in GT3 is all gold for all licenses...

For real? I mean, I know it's possible, but people do cheat. (I'm not accusing you of that offense.)

My claim to fame would have to be...

I've never finished 6th-5th in Gran Turismo mode. :sly: But I havent fully finished professional mode (only PD championship and another to go), some endurance races and rally courses.

Who are you talking to?

my lap times with my S.S. trueno was to fast to be true on GT3. thats what i've accomplished. made everyone think i was hybriding. oh and i broke into sevens with the F/094s car. that was thought to be unbelievable too. but there's just too many people out there. no one can be the best.

I have a couple minor items that could classify as "my claim to GT3 fame".
1. I made the "Rim Description (visual)" program hosted by DG to make rim location while building hybrids a lot easier. It also allows you to put any wheel on any car. Some cars dont allow you to buy aftermarket wheels but this program eliminated that problem. :)
2. I made the first wheelie car that would do a wheelie right off the starting line. Nothing special and worthless for driving.
3. I can pretty much make any hybrid I want including pulling cars from GT3 into GTC2002. Yes 2 seperate games. By now many other people know how to do this. I have tons of videos but wont post them until I get a decent video host. The information in #3. I learned from GTH but its still really fun to do once you have the knowledge.
4. I made the first AWD drifting F1 with 20" wheels. 👍
5. Ive made the top 10 in a couple of the time events I entered in here. Usually if I enter a race I can at least get within the top 10.

Thats not that odd, I've done that and I must know of at least 15 others who have here. I think your getting the same thing as me, you beat the game comfortably, think your pretty good, come online and don't believe what others can do and how much better they can do it. I didn't believe the times at racing line at first, no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get close, now I'm quite a lot closer but I wouldn't say I'm near the best. Check out the online racing section and have a go in the weekly race series or something there and you'll see some real pro's at work, I found that even though I don't take part now having a benchmark to work to improves your skills no end.

How not to conduct yourself when discussing times.

And for a recap. Some of us don't forget easily.

Phantasm. He claims to have golded all liscences.
Which, suprisingly isn't as hard as you think. Give it some practice, if I could do it, anybody can.

I dunno, the closest I got was Golding the S-class final, the GT-One at Mon- I mean, Cote.

And live4speed, I don't really have an inflated sense of ability, it was just a mere question. (Don't mean that to sound arrogant.;) )

Sorry I wasn't trying to implay you had, it's just what a lot of players that come here think at first, they don't have anything other than a mate or themselves to compare against so they don't really know any better. Thats what I was like, I knew I wasn't the best but I though I would be withing a couple of seconds to the best at least, I was wrong, very wrong but using the best as a goal has improved my skills in GT3 more than I ever could if I didn't.

Like Der Alta said, anyone can get golds, it just takes practice and I'm sure that you could if you keep at it.
