G.TI thought a 1.8 = 3.2, it's not exactly double.

been programming recently?spock$Desktop->CpuSpeed="2.0GHz Intel Pentium 4";
$Laptop->CpuSpeed="2.4Ghz Intel Celeron"
Get the 3700. The price difference is nominal and the fact that it has double the cache alone makes the chip worth the extra $60 (canadian). Considering that your pc will easily cost you over $1k, the $60 shouldn't take too long to save up for.donbenniYeah the 3500 is tempting. It's either that or the 3700, but if i go the latter i will have to spend less on the GPU.
Topic of the day: What's more important in a gaming machine, a fast CPU + medium GPU or a medium CPU + fast GPU?

For your topic of the day, I'd say blow cash out the wazoo on the video card, get a mid range CPU and overclock the sucker. The athlon64's are VERY overclockable even on stock cooling.
OmnisLOL, I can't believe you actually bought a celeron.

What the hell do you need 13 systems for? You could run a damn server farm ...almost.Geeky1Voted for >4.0GHz 'cause the poll doesn't account for SMP, which my "main" system is.

You had BETTER have a Beowufl cluster running!Geeky1Voted for >4.0GHz 'cause the poll doesn't account for SMP, which my "main" system is.
