I wish GT5 incorporated more real circuits! By that I mean all the circuits included in the F1 season and race series such as BTCC and WTCC, as well as certain circuits such as Valencia that were in Tourist Trophy. Would also be nice to have certain historic roads included, such as the stelvio pass, miglia miglia route and potentially a few hill climb courses, such as Goodwood hill, shelsey walsh hill climb.

What do others think? Just think it would make the game a little more interesting, as these made up circuits are all very well and good but it doesnt allow a direct comparison with race series you see in real life. I curious to understand whether a real circuit requires greater time to create it than a fabricated one?

Well because time and resources are limited they can't include all the circuits from the Formula 1 calendar or any race series for that matter.

There are a few real courses that I feel PD should add though. Bathurst is already 99% confirmed so here are some others

Silverstone - Legendary track and home of the GT Academy trials. Has 6 different layouts ranging from .8 miles long to 3.7 miles long which is great for the variety of cars in GT.

Brand Hatch - Another historic British track. Fun course with two layouts, 1.2 miles and 2.6 miles long.

Road Atlanta - Home of the Petit Le Mans sportscar race. Alot of elevation change and challenging turns. Its only 2.5 miles long so slow and fast cars can race on it

Watkins Glen - One of the most famous American tracks, use to be home of the USGP. Offers two layouts, the shorter, more simple 2.4 mile NASCAR layout and the longer 3.4 mile Grand Prix layout. Also has decent elevation changes

I agree with your point on fictional circuits. I believe PD should bring back classic fictional circuits like Midfield, Apricot Hill, SSR11, Complex String etc, but should not create any new ones. Cape Ring was a disaster. We'd much rather race on real circuits anyway.

Real circuits definitely take more time to create then fictional ones. Real circuits require precise track design. Elevation changes, bumps and track side objects all must be perfect. But these things do not matter for a fictional circuit unless its based on a real life location.

Oh and heres another DLC Wishlist car

Do you think it would be nice to see these cockpits in GT5?

I would never pay for it, but i want the STIG's race gear. that would be epic (other then everyone else would have it too)

Lotus 49 would be better than 38 IMO. The 38 is specialized for ovals.

I gave up all hope of these type of cars ever being included in GT years ago though. :indiff:

Good point, dude! But do not lose hope! I think, being a classic car, Kaz will look fondly at him. :)

This is already in the game. I'm not sure if I paid for it - came as a DLC pack download I'm sure, but it's in the game, because my driver wears the Alpinestars suit with the Simpson helmet.
