I believe its the Super Spot not Gran Sport. Are you talking about the orange and black one that currently holds the top speed record? If so that is the Bugatti Veyron SS. I also agree with the F50. Damn shame that that car and the Diablo are not in this game.

I don't like the SS very much it's kinda ugly (not that I think the Veyron is pretty)... I totally forgot about the Diablo! We could use some more classic Ferraris and Lamborghinis (LM002 would be awesome:dopey:) in this game. Also the Aston Martin line up in this game is very dissapointing (where's DBS,V8 and V12 Vantage, DB5 and many others?)

Seriously though I would love to see an escort cosworth premium, sierra rs500 touring car, Nissan pulsar gtir, metro 6r4, new shape civic type r (the one we get in UK), Mitsubishi gto race car that was in gt1, the new focus rs, UK tuner cars like the sumo 350z and the 900bhp Simon Norris evo 9 time attack car.

The worst part is that they do have the good sound samples, just go to your garage and start up a ZondaR or any premium SuperGT car the sound you hear is glorious, but yet where does it go when you drive the car? Instead of using the new sound samples they just went with the old GT4 ones, and for the few that sound decent they lack the deep bass rumble...
 
I'd be statisfied with:

the M5 E39S (preferrably after the facelift)
the F355 (how could they possibly forget it?)
the F50 (same goes for this one!)
the BMW Z3

and generally more premium cars.

I don't dislike the current car selection, it's just that you can never statisfy everyone. And I wouldn't want PD to ruin it by trying too hard. So I would see the addition of the aforementioned cars as a bonus, not as a must. I'm perfectly fine without them, too.

Oh, and if any of these cars I named already exist, please let me know...

A couple cars that would be amazing to have: Aventador, Diablo SV, Countach 5000QV, Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, Lamborghini Gallardo bicolore, 2013 M5, E39 M5, Original M3, Newest Dodge Charger, Gumpert Apollo, Ferrari FF, BMW M1, Lotus Exige, 2012 Nissan GT-R, Aston martin One-77. Of course by "a couple" I meant fifteen.:sly: I can't express how much I want 0-100 power splits on 4WD cars.
 
I'd really like to see a functioning Boost gauge in the dashboard of the Lancia Delta (maybe also the handling tweaked because the thing drives bad).

Love the car but 1.1 bar of boost at idle to redline looks bad especially when it's in the center of the instrument cluster.

I would just like to see those, period as something you could put in your car, in fact I think that there should be some more interior upgrades like seats, and roll cages rather than just weight reduction kits.
 
The car I currently want the most is probably the McLaren MP4/4. Twin turbo Honda V6, 900bhp, 6 speed manual and 540kg. During the 1988 season it won 15 out of 16 races, 15 poles, 10 fastest laps and it gave Ayrton Senna his first championship title.

Also, it is one of the coolest and most beautiful looking F1 cars of all time in my opinion.
 
soon we'll see if DLC packs become a substantial update to the game or if PD will reserve new content for GT6.
The game's anniversary is in about 2 weeks and christmas season will start around that time, so these 2 months will be eye opening.

In any case it's a win-win scenario. Either we get more new (and not japanese) cars and tracks to play with, or if the DLC pack is disappointing then it'll be high time to buy a 360 :P

My opinion is that PD will stretch the licenses it already has without making extensive modifications to the game, so we'll certainly have the newest GT-R each year but no better use of the top gear uk license (replay cameras, standing starts, more special events, adding the 3 reasonably priced cars).
The best case scenario would be interiors to all standard cars, but that's no new content still.

If the future DLC packs are disappointing (I don't believe this), there is no reason for me, to buy a 360, because there are so many cars in GT5, which I haven't drove since the launch. New tracks will be as future DLC coming too, so it will be a new experience with the "old" cars in GT5 too.

I have tried every single premium car of the game, besides some nascars. I've been around every track, and played every game mode the game has to offer both online and offline.

That may sound like a lot but it truly isn't with remote racing and the 300%/200% (including offline b-spec) bonuses.

Since the competition aspect of the game is pretty poor, if you compare it to PC sims and even to forza4's rivals mode, it gets old quickly and it feels like I completed a single player game so I need new (and not sub par) content to play with.
It'll be delivered by gt5, which is the sole reason why I bought a ps3, or by forza4, if my 360 still works after a year of no usage.

Lets put a timelimit and how much content are we expecting.
Certainly there's a xmas dlc pack coming; it's pretty obvious. Is it good enough if it again features no RL cars, one real life circuit and a fictional course? What if the next update is in late March 2012?

Totally with you mate, I would pay what it cost for the game to get this as a dlc pack
 
A little bit more options to customize our cars like window tints, more spoilers and rear/side/front bumpers not like tuning but more like sport editions I dont know if iam making myself clear :$ Im just saying :$
Anyway more cars like more Mercedes, Audi, WV and so one.
It would be nice we could design our outfits choose colors, patterns designs, brands like alpinestar :D turn our pilot more personal, cause I already found many players with the same outfit and helmet and even the same photo pose like mine. Anyway Im just saying :$
