AKps3 and Toko latest post are good but 5 cars by now it is a low number. keep waiting and i´m sure we are going to see more but also i think PD is going to add some cars for free with the next update and they must add at least 10 new ones (not already in the game and not RM...but yes Race cars GT or super GT or DTM if not 2012 with 2010 and 2011 -2 models Audi and Mercedes Benz with different liveries-) and a pack with 5 old Gt series tracks will be great (Seattle, Great canyon for rally and some more).

I think it's not a good idea to ask for new models of cars we already have nor upgrading standard cars to premium status and offer them as DLC. That shares the same problem with "duplicates" (having 40 useless versions of the same car), which is it doesn't feel like new content is being added to the game hence it's a wasted effort in PD's part and a waste of customers money.

DLC Pack #1 had the most requested feature, which was more RM cars and called them TC. Problem was there were only 4 new ones out of 15.
Some already had RM versions (challenger, evo, impreza) and others were repeated or simply didn't improved the game, such as the X2011 (I also find absurd there are 3 versions of that car), karts (would have been different if those were karts with shifters and more hp, or less powerful yet more common karts), and more and more skylines.

DLC Pack #2 featured 4 cars, but in reality only 1 was truly an addition to the game. We already had a mini cooper S, a Golf and a gazillion GT-Rs.

Finally, DLC Pack #3 had 6 cars but 3 were "repeated", which are the XJR-9, the beetle and the countryman S FWD version (would have been different if PD used the 4wd one, which is mini's current base model for WRC).

Probably I'd be still playing GT5 if those 3 packs were done properly, with 25 new cars instead of 8.

Also there's a rule of thumb in the racing genre, which is people like convertible (or rather roof less) cars the most since it's something different than what most people drive in real life, so PD should go into that direction.
Same goes for open wheelers and similar body types. For example a X Bow would be a much better addition than the nissan juke for example.

The only exception for both posts is the Veyron, even if I personally don't like it though.

Here is my list which cars should be in DLC 3. Top 5 fastest street legal cars available on the market (production models, as opposed to concept or modified cars).

1. Bugatti Veyron Super Sport: 267 mph, 0-60 in 2.4 secs.
161nfw3.jpg

2. Hennessey Venom GT: 260 mph, 0-60 in 2.5 secs.

3. Koenigsegg Agera R: 260 mph, 0-60 in 2.9 secs.

4. SSC Ultimate Aero: 257 mph, 0-60 in 2.7 secs.
2q3cfwo.jpg

5. Saleen S7 Twin-Turbo: 248 mph, 0-60 in 2.8 secs.

You'd think with all the copies sold, PD would approach more manufacturers. I mean, it took GT5: Prologue to snatch Ferrari, and GT PSP to snag Lamborghini.

You will see Koenigsegg in GT9: Prologue and it will be an outdated CCR LOL

You know what. Your right. And for DLC car pack 4, it looks like Kaz maybe doing it again. This time, with the Supra RZ. I've always wondered to myself. Does Kaz even listen to us and our requests? Does he do what he sees fit in the game? To prove that. He needs to have requests or Spec 3.0 ready what we'd asked for for quite sometime now.

Kazunori did mention that [3] factors go into what cars make it to Gran Turismo:

1. What Kazunori finds fitting.

2. What manufacturers want.

3. What fans desire.

^In my opinion, it goes in that order, unfortunately^

Question: "On the subject of Gran Turismo, how do you decide which cars you are going to include in the game?"

Kazunori's reply: "There are three factors, my personal choice, the cars that players want in the game and of course what the manufacturers want to see included."

I suspect that that is a car Ford may want to incorporate in the near future but nobody know for sure

Hmm.. So Nissan made the Batmobile ey.. You learn something new every day :)
And why not make Hennesey a dealer.. I mean, who doesn't love 1000bhp Caddy's and 850bhp 4WD's

I still believe that more focus on already incorporated manufacturers should be a primary focus .. i.e... Shelby: The GT500 / Cadillac: the CTS-V / Dodge: Charger SRT8
and as far as standard to premium is concerned there's a quite extensive list of those
so I'll only name 3.. Supra RZ... Toyota AE86.. and any S13 hatchback( I mean really.. how many versions are there..180sx, 200sx ,240sx ,Sileighty )

A 1970/71 Monte Carlo, 94-96 Chevy Impala SS, 03-04 Mercury Marauder and definitely a 1971 Chevy Chevelle 454 SS This game could use these cars, old and new muscle i can only hope... they already have the 1970 Chevelle the 71' had some minor changes body wise. Or a 1967 chevy Impala... that would be kewl :)
