Now that would be really cool

For kicks and giggles too

(yes I did post these back awhile in another post)

And while we're at it Bullitt's '68 mustang fasback

Hell....Yes.

It's funny though, because there are 16 variations of the S2000 AP1 (the first gen) ranging from 99' to 2003'. That's an average of 4 S2K's from each of those years represented in the game. All of them were the same each year, there were never any changes between the 99's and 03's. Duplicates. However, there are only 3 Mustangs total. Even worse, only 3 Australlian cars total.

However, no matter how we plead nor beg, the fact of the matter is that PD is a Japanese company and will always be heavy on the Japanese cars, even if they have no place whatsoever in the game (IE: Daihatsu Midget, Honda Life Van) or are duplicate models. And judging by the DLC, I doubt that we will see a real surge in the number of classic road cars (by surge, I mean 30). I think it's all going to be modern stuff.

I'm speechless... I've been a Viper fan since the first 1989 concept was exposed. I've been following it's evolution since and its almost inevitable death...

I must say WOW. I've never been so impressed with a car in my life. And teh Viper has never looked so beautiful before. I was affraid that the end result would be to tame design wise, but it ended up looking absolutely beautiful.

There are design quotes from the first GTS as I can see, but it also follows the trend of most sportscars of this era. But I'm glad that it still looks like Viper no matter how you look at it.

I'm in extasis right now... My eyes even watered a bit when looking at the pics. We need this. We definitely do.

Watched WTCC from Valencia this weekend, a good looking track, which PD took the trouble to scan for GT PSP, enough data for a DLC in HD??

The more new cars I see emerge, the more my stomach is sick. PD has a lot of classics to model and, of course, the newer gems that flood the market.

I agree

That car looks like a concept from the early 80´s. lol

Well, it is a modern interpretation of a classic from that period, which has had a hugely positive reception, so it is mission accomplished as far as Audi is concerned. In fact it is based on the RS5 and will make limited production late 2012 - early 2013 and probably be close to £100,000. I think it looks fantastic!

Speaking of Audi... I want the Audi R18 as DLC. KAZ, THE AUDI R18!

1981 Volkswagen Scirocco S

Impressive list, I agree with almost all of it, except 2 of the last 3 entries, the 308 GTI was a horrid discrace imo, too wet and slow, a real shame peugeot didn't make a real peugeot there (I'm para-quoting from the new President).

The Volkswagen Rabbit GTI as you call it, is basically a watered down *double checks facts* version of the Volkswagen GOLF GTI '78* 1.8 vs. 1.8 (sorry mate, but its 110BHP vs. 90BHP, so I don't see the point?).

Also, they have a 2004 Vanquish as a standard car, is this not good enough? Not the V12? a Quattro is included. I wouldn't hold my breathe for any of the Ferraris except the FF or the F12, and if you added the Pantera, what about the Maserati Ghibli, Bora, Khamsin or Merak / SS? All just as deserving, all not likely to be ever included.

Anyway, good list none the less, does seem a bit Forza 4 ish? Might just be me...

For some reason, this is my wishlist for the next round of dlc. It's just stuck in my head!

Ferrari F12berlinetta
Ferrari 250 GTO
The LM Nissan Singatech
Ferrari FF
Nissan Skyline R34 Z-Tune
And of course the obvious electric car Kaz insists on, Chevy Volt

That new SRT Viper would be splendid too. :dopey:

Honestly, IMO, it would be a stupid move by Kaz to let the new Viper get away. It would be a Magnificent addition to GT5!

Well said Husky, well said. :)👍

This Viper just says GTS all over. With a little hint of SRT-10 at some areas.

New Viper is rubbish! Get us some real cars.

Seconded. We need more modern and classic european cars, we already have the SRT8/10 whatever, and several others, its more than well represented.

Bring on the new M5!

I would take a fair guess that PD will add 6 cars.
Citroen DS3 (For the small car)
Nissan GT-R D24 GT Academy (For the Race Car)
Ferrari FF (For 1 of the 2 Super/Sports cars)
Dodge Viper (2012) (The other 1 as mentioned above)
Chevrolet Volt (Another Electric..)
BMW M5 (2012) (Just seems likely.)
