Sorry if this has been posted before, it probably has, :indiff:, but I just wanted to know what everyone is panting and drooling and jumping up and down with anxiousness to be able to drive? In other words, what are your favorite confirmed cars from the car list?

I personally like all of the classic European cars. Gran Turismo 2 neglected Europe when it came to classics. The only classics I noticed were the Mini Cooper, Elan, Europa, and the DB6. I am glad that there are going to be more.

As usual, I like all of the Japanese cars that I don't get to see in America. Examples include the Skyline and the Honda Integra. I don't like all of those ridiculous boxy cars like the Nissan Cube, or those -100 cars like the Daihatsus.

The modern European cars are nice. I really liked the selection they had in GT2, and am glad that there will be an excellent selection in GT4. The more European, the merrier.

Rally cars are a nice category, especially the classics like the Giulia and Stratos. In Sega GT2K2, I used a supertuned Lancer to get past stages I couldn't get through with my supertuned Chevelle. Despite having less horsepower, the Lancer has better accelleration. That made me believe that I need to try all the cars to find the best one for the job.

The forties and fifties cars are a nice change of pace. I understand why they don't have many. It is because they are experimenting with pre-sixties cars. While I can see a bright future for the early postwar cars, the prewar cars will probably not be seen in future GTs.

I also like all of classic Japan, which I find interesting. You do not see very many of those cars in America, and most of them are rally cars. This suggests that Japan focused on rallying back then, sports cars later.

There are also the non-rally race cars, like those of LeMans and the Touring Car Championships. I love any car racing other than NASCAR, and these cars will be nice to see.

There are the classic race cars, like the LeMans GT40 and the Can AM Toyota 7. I really like the idea of puting historical race cars in this game so you can relive the thrill of the car that won a historic victory in motorsports.

As I said before, I really like classic rally cars. Perhaps there will be a classic rally class so that I can race Giulias against Stratos and Celica 1600s. That would be awesome.

That reminds me, I would like to see a classic racing league. In other words, a league with just classic races. One race would be prewar, the next fifties, the next sixties, the next seventies, and so on. They could all be done at Laguna-Seca sort of like the Monterey Historics. That would be sweet.

A SUMMARY OF WHAT I AM ANTICIPATING

1. classic Europe
2. modern Japan
3. modern Europe
4. modern rally cars
5. forties and fifties
6. classic Japan
7. modern race cars
8. classic race cars
9 classic rally cars

Im really excited about all the classic European cars also, such as the Jaguars. Another car that im sooooooo anxious to play is the Toyota 2000GT. Best Japanese Classic Sports Car Ever! (BJCSCE, lol)

I sat down yesterday and made a list of cars I wanted to add to my garage eventually. Actually came out quite large.. hehe. I went for all the cool-looking cars (concept cars, etc), high-performance cars, and cars that would be cute to putz around the 'Ring in (Daihatsu Midget, etc).

My single most anticipated car? That one's easy.. Delorean DMC-12.

Take a look at this site : http://perso.wanadoo.fr/site.neo/indexgb.htm

It has SOME of the pictures of th cars in GT4. Just bear in mind that there appears to b a lot of wish list cars on the website but useful for pictures nevertheless.

Also its in French 👎

But having said that i like the look of the Jensen SV-8 providing it makes it into the game (only seen in magazine as yet) and the McLaren F1 GTR Fina Race Car.
