Your favorite "LM Race Car"?

You can paint it black but be aware that it will become all black, with the decals intact. I.e. it won't have the same two-tone (with white side panels) as before it was painted. Painted mine silver and it looks awesome but no longer two-tone. No biggie, in time I'll buy s'mores from the UCD. Good luck finding your black Camaro. :)

Painted one panther black and was surprised at how good it looked, have blue and green two-tone but have not seen black or red yet. Really like the two-tone black, Earnhardt look. Will have to keep cycling level 21 tickets but all I keep getting is NASCARs and the green one. :ouch:

While i love most of the road car based lms, mostly the FTO and Impreza, i just purchased the 787b and it juat rapes my ears, sense of vision, and all conception of possibility of speed in my opinion. And allthat in a good way

I love the S2k LM. I think visually, it's got an awesome hood, but it handles like a dream. When I was having trouble with the 500pp races, I grabbed that thing, tuned the engine down a bit and destroyed everyone. It may be a little underpowered for LM but it's a great car.
 
FTO question...

Is everyone referring to the FTO Touring Car or is there an actual FTO LM in GT5 and I've just missed it?
 
It's the FTO Super Touring Car.

Before GT4, it was officially known as an LM but the name change happened. However, it is still considered an LM with the inheritance. It is in fact one of only two LMs that has stayed in the series since GT1, the other being the RX-7 LM (both have had various changes throughout though).

FTO LM was this:



It lasted from GT1 through GT3. In GT4 it was replaced with the one we have now. People are likely calling LM to save space, and it basically fills the same role as the old one anyway even though it looks rather different.

My favorite is probably the GT-R LM Concept.
 
I've seen a few posts where people are saying "McLaren F1 LM" but so far as I know that car is not in GT5.

There is only the F1, the BMW F1 GTR, and the "stealth" F1.

The F1 LM, is the papaya orange version of which 5 were made in honor of Bruce McLaren. This is also why they were painted that color, it was his racing color.

Like I said, so far as I know the LM is not in the game. What car are you guys referring to?
