Why is everyone posting real life cars?

LM Race Cars are the cars you see that PD created. Anything Group C or LMP is not an LM race car.

Anyway, it was the FTO STC, before PD screwed it over completely. Now, I'm not sure I have a favourite, in GT5 at least. Of all time, mine is the GT1 CR-X del sol LM...and if you haven't driven it, pick GT1 up now and find it ASAP, then come back here.

In GT5, I will say though the #00 RX-7 LM is probably worthy of actually being stored in a freezer, so cool it is.

The Level 16 Ticket from Seasonal #6 is spitting out random cars, ugh

Subaru IMPREZA Super Touring Car - Epic Awesomeness! For strictly LM ...the Zonda LM Race Car opens the door that wins the prize for me.

I've done a little testing in every PD made racecar in the game (So the LMs, STCs, TCs, RMs and a couple others) and my favourite would be the Pagani Zonda LM. I also love the Jag XJ220 LM, but that's actually very nearly real!

Completely unrelated to this thread and GT, but god... This is a pretty epic Forza made livery

The XJ220 and GT-R concept LM because they are underrated.

And?
None of us will. This thread is about cars that PD made up for GT, not real Le Mans racers.

Oh nevermind I understand now. I thought you were debating the standard/premium thing but I made a mistake. Sorry :ouch:

Can anyone remember the TVR Cerbera LM, not sure which version it was in but it was quite quick.

I like the Camaro LM.

Rare, fast, paintable, and a Chevy!

I have 5!

S2000; Impossibly smooth all around, one of my favorite gt cars of all time.
Nsx prototype; The only racecar you can physically add a different wing to.
You can also paint the Camaro, the whole body changes color but you keep the larger side decals.

The Rx7 LM for razor sharp handling.

Ford GT Spec II Test Car

I traded for a dozen of the 16 Tickets, just so I could rip all seven colors of the FTO LM - such a fun car to drive. I put a drag tune on the transmission for the first four gears and stretched five and six. Does she ever sing at 600pp!

Ford GT spec II. It's very good for winning the level 23 American Championship as it's slightly faster than the Oreca Viper, Panoz etc. Chapparal 2J is probably the only American car that is faster.

I like the FTO in GT3 because you can put it on Dirt tires

The Ford GT Spec II has been a warhorse for me.

The Ford GT and the Zonda LM. None compare.

Yikes, this'll be rough for me, but I'd have to say the LM's I get the most enjoyment out of are:

Honda NSX-R LM Prototype Road Car
Jaguar XJ220 LM Race Car
Mazda RX-8 Concept LM Race Car
Nissan Fairlady Z Z33/350Z LM Concept
Nissan GT-R Concept LM Race Car

Can anyone remember the TVR Cerbera LM, not sure which version it was in but it was quite quick.

It was available as a race modification in GT1 and a full on racing LM in GT2.

The FTO LM is my favorite, besides the Zonda LM. Both of them just have nostalgic values to me, but they also are very fun to drive.

Maybe not strictly an Lm car but the fto super touring car at 600pp using a good tune is outstanding! Mine sees off gt500 cars at same pp with ease

The Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car, simply for its engine sound  and it's Premium :D

I just bought both the GTLM and Camaro LM. I like the green color of the Camaro, but the GTLM looks a bit too much like the GT40 to me.

I gotta go with the Camaro LM, love this car. 1 of my favorites and most used in GT4, sadly I can't find a black 1 in GT5

It's supposed to. Ford GT's with the classic Gulf livery are called Ford GT Nosalgia (The name I keep seeing them in in car shows).

I know. It's just a bit confusing when you see a GTLM racing a GT40.

You can paint it black but be aware that it will become all black, with the decals intact. I.e. it won't have the same two-tone (with white side panels) as before it was painted. Painted mine silver and it looks awesome but no longer two-tone. No biggie, in time I'll buy s'mores from the UCD. Good luck finding your black Camaro. :)

My favourite would have to be the Peugeot 908 LMP1 2010.

While i love most of the road car based lms, mostly the FTO and Impreza, i just purchased the 787b and it juat rapes my ears, sense of vision, and all conception of possibility of speed in my opinion. And allthat in a good way

My favorite LM car is the Pagani Zonda LM Race Car. Amazingly agile

RX-7 LM Black w/ white top (also got a silver and a blue one, want them all!)

787B and 908 are not "LM" cars...
