"No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is, won't make you cry."

Isn't it "Do or do not, there is no try."?
I mostly dislike motivational sayings as most people see them. Instead, here's some famous last words I'm quite fond of:

Shoot straight you bastards, don't make a mess of it. (Executed by firing squad)- Harry "Breaker" Morant, d. 1902

Go away. I'm all right. -- H. G. Wells, novelist, d. 1946

Isn't it "Do or do not, there is no try."

Pshhh. Whut-evah.

It's an interpretation. (but, yes, that is the right quote.)

"Keep an open mind, and people will put garbage in it."
I saw this attributed to Einstein, but I don't think that's acutally true. (the attribution, that is. The quote's definatly true.)

“By itself, pain is not always enough. There are occasions when a human being will stand out against pain, even to the point of death. But for everyone there is something unendurable – something that cannot be contemplated. Courage and cowardice are not involved. If you are falling from a height it is not cowardly to clutch at a rope. If you have come up from deep water it is not cowardly to fill your lungs with water. It is merely an instinct which cannot be destroyed.” – O’Brien from George Orwell's 1984

Be civil to all; sociable to many; familiar with few; friend to one; enemy to none.

(The guy on the US 100 dollar bill)

"You cannot appreciate winning until you've lost."

Work is the curse of the drinking classes. Oscar Wilde

Edit: I couldn’t resist another :D

‘If you want the rainbow, you’ve gotta put up with the rain.’ Do you know which philosopher said that? Dolly Parton… and people say she’s just a big pair of tits. David Brent

I like that Churchill quote, that basically says who isn't a liberal when they are younger has no heart. Someone who isn't a conservative when they are older has no brain.

There are many versions of this quote floating around. Also, I hope it doesn't offend anybody. It's a interesting take, and that's all. ;)

I like the Churchill quote that went something like this...

Angry Lady - "If you were my husband, I would put poison in your coffee!"

Churchill - "If you were my wife, I would drink that cup of coffee!"

I've heard of that one, too. Good one!

"If you are going through Hell, keep going", is also a Churchill quote.

"We are the people our parents warned us about", don't know who said this one.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move. - Douglas Adams

I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas Adams

The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits - Albert Einstein

 More good ones. I forgot about the Albert Einstein one. :D

Douglas Adams is infinitely quotable.

Charles Barkley is great, too:

Awesome.
