looks nice, ive had a bad experiance with windowblinds, it killed my version of win 2000 on my other pc so themeing this pc is a big no no. But i whish windows xp had more themes or easy to use themes that wont skrew up the comp.

I have most of the Stardock programs (WindowBlinds, DesktopX, RightClick, ObjectDock), and yes it does requires alot of ram and processing. WindowBlinds aint a bad thing, but you need at least a 512MB RAM computer. Before I upgrade to 1GB, I was on 256MB it was just impossible to run what I run daily with WB. I installed it last week and uninstalled it as my version is old (4.5, 5 is now released) so theres no more new themes for it.

If you want easy themes, StyleXP is the most simple. Its light, easy to use, and simple. There's no comparison with WB as SXP uses ALOT MORE LESS ram than WB. But, its 2 different type of themes, so dont expect having the WB's theme quality with SXP, its impossible... :)

Cheers GTRacer4 i will look into this, ive been told about this before but i totally forgot about it cheers, although if this pc goes down im in deep ****.

Yeh Mugen, my pc in my room has 1gb of ram, but for some reason it skrewed up all my icons on my desktop and in the start menu so they were all overlapping one another, so i formated and put XP on no biggie, its just that this pc is my parents, and they hate change it would probably baffle them if i changed the look. lol

Man, no wonder some people complain about Firefox using too many resources.

I scaled back although I'd rather just have a real simple browser with all the obviously important stuff built-in.

Hmm, just downloaded Adblock and since it's been installed, I have not been able to see the little icons next to the main forum listing and everyones avatars have disappeared. Anyone know why?

Try Adblock Plus along with Filterset.G Updater

The standard adblock string is pretty weak. Filterset.G is t3h shiz, but it's updated weekly. The updater fixes that issue. Adblock Plus will also allow you to whitelist sites - great for ones that the script accidentally blocks off
