What is it? A Ford or a Lincoln? It looks like a car I've been searching for. Lately it's been a Buick Riviera Boattail, but that Ford/L could do too. All I want is a 70's brick with a hood large enough to host a smorgasbord. And prefferably a 2door.

1976 Ford LTD. Mine was a two door. And the rear bumper was tied on with twine. The exhaust pipe had at least two tin can repairs. But the back seat was like a twin bed, which was very useful.
 
1989 Nissan Pulsar NX XE. 1.6l, auto. 90hp baby! Even had a cool Powered by Nissan sticker on the windshield. Im so glad I outgrew that real quick.

My first car was a 1991 Acura Integra LS. It was red, and I had it for about 4 years. Bought it in 1996, for my 16th birthday.

Since everyone's listing every car they've owned, I figured I'd do the same.

1989 Civic Si (pseudo dragger that barely worked properly, bought it with a co-worker)
1998 Integra Type-R (my father bought it from me as a birthday present. Yes, he's pretty wealthy, and no, I don't care what you say about that.)
1990 Nissan NX2000 (used as a winter car)
2000 Honda Prelude (replaced the sadly stolen Type-R)
1991 Integra LS (bought a second one, built it up a bit, then sold it)
1990 Honda CRX Si (took the engine off the Integra, put it in that thing, ran low 12s, made 472 hp, blew it up about 20 times, and that's it... I still have it, but it's lifeless)
1993 Honda Civic DX (bought as a winter car, once again, but there might be some plans for it...)
2001 Honda S2000 (black on red, oh so sweet... I haven't driven it a lot yet, the weather is pretty inclement.)

And so that's 9 cars, 8 of which were Hondas... I think I'll change camps next time I buy a car.:lol:

Just thinking about all the comfortable sleeping you probably did back there is making me sleepy right now!

That is what it was good for right? I mean, what else do you need a big back seat for? Or am I missing something? :confused:
 
Well...

1st: 96 Ford Aerostar (got me around...could really feel those 140 horses under my ass...no seriously...the driver's seat was loose and jumping:odd: )

2nd: 79 Camaro (gold, auto. The aerostar could probably take it in a straight line but i loved the car none the less. Was passed down by my dad. Ended up leaving it when i got the 86 and parked it at my uncle's dump truck yard. Someone stole my passenger door. Sold it to some Camaro enthusiast for a grand CDN.

3rd: 86 Camaro Z28. I had this one going for a good 6 months. Headers, Borla exhaust system. Was just about to get a nice deck and 2 12's when i got an offer for 7800. I bought it for far less. Ended up selling it.

4th(current): 95 Camaro Z28. All i've got on it now is Edelbrock headers and a cowl hood. Planning on doing more...once i get some money:odd: .... a lot of money:banghead:.
 
I drove my moms Tiburon for about a month after I got a liscense but I don't really consider that mine. First car I own and drive myself is my '87 Dodge Dakota.

I'm only 16, so thi is what I hope to get:
If I get a decent paid apprenticeship (about UK £9000 per annum) I can get an E30 325i and insure it. If not, I want to get a Vauxhall Cavalier GSi 2.0. It all depends what I earn, if I get a crap apprenticeship I'll probably buy an Escort 1.4.
A 205 GTi 1.6 sounds interesting, but I'd probably spin it.:p
 
My parents have had a lot of cars some i cant remember but rite now we have the ones in my sig. my mum the 330ci the M5 for my dad and i have the 5.40i 1990 version or so, but before that i was ridin in a battered vauxhall cavalier.
 
my first car is my mom's '93 accord...I get it pretty much anytime my mom isn't at work.

I probably won't be getting a car with my name on the title until I graduate at the very earliest. Hopefully that'll mean a well paying job - enough to afford a 10-15 year old M3. I saw the '88 going for 20k (canadian) just recently...Buuuut, I'm not getting one for at least another 4 years so my choice in cars may change by then.

Oh well, good gas milage, cheap to maintain, leather, awsome sound system not bad considering some of my firends first cars :)
 
Duke You had a 1992 Grey Caravan?!!!
I currently have a 1992 Grey Voyager.
It's the vehicle that has turned me cold towards Mopars.
Though I think a Neon SRT could turn me back.:lol:

But the Ford truck will preclude another car for me for a while, I hope.
 
My first car...A 1988 Honda Accord.

Loved it to bits. Manily because I just got my licence and it was a standard. :p

But anyway...I bought it at 189,000 miles on it, It finally quit on me at 225,000 miles. The headgasket blew.

But right now I have a 1990 Civic LX. Although I think I need to bring it to the shop because Im leaking radiator fluid. Oh well. It has 175,000 miles on it.
 
Mine will be a white 92 lexus sc300, its got an auto, the driver's side window currently won't roll up, and the cd player is broken:grumpy:

Following that, I had a 1990 (or 1991) Toyota Cressida, 1996 Land Rover Discovery, 1999 Mercedes ML430, 2002 Audi A4, 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, 1980s Lancia Delta HF Integrale ("the most failed idea ever"), 2002 BMW M3, 2003 BMW 330xi, 1996 Ford F150, 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee TSi, 2003 Volvo XC90, 2000 (1999?) BMW 740i, 2003 Mazda 6, 2003 Subaru Outback sedan, 2004 Cadillac SRX V8, 2002 BMW M5, 1998 Toyota Avalon, 2004 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer, and now a 2004 Mercedes CLK55 and - since what's mine is hers and more importantly what's hers is mine - a 2000 Audi A4.

I'm certain I'm missing two because I left them off because I had them less than a month. Otherwise there's probably more I'm missing, but still - fairly impressive for a 26-year-old...
 
SC400 is a V8 but the SC300 has the same engine as the MKIV non turbo supra, easy swap for the TT, Supra power with lexus comfort, cant beat that....unless you own a GTR that is :lol:

im not sure bout the exact date but its the third newest 5 series and it was made around the 90s or b4 den, ill look up the exact date now.
 
i got it, its a 1994 version, sorry for the confusion. i found the documents in the glove compartment.

Well obviously it depends on what you're looking for. The E30 cars were much lighter and tossable. For a young guy (or gal) who doesn't need the space and isn't worried about trading some comfort for a more lively driving experience, then E30 all the way. My first BMW was an E30 325 and I loved that car to bits.

But ask me today which I'd pick and I'd choose E34. They were more refined, more comfortable, bigger, etc. You can still drive them sideways if you want, though, but the E34 was all about a good balance between a driver's car and a daily car.

One of the great things about how BMW develops their product line is that there is a logical progression as you go up the ladder, so to speak. As their customers grow older and their priorities and incomes change, so do the cars.
